I definitely agree that these skills are vitally important for undersized guards. The off-arm is also a very underrated, yet very crucial aspect. Will try to implement these into my game! Thanks, Coach!

Been watching sooo much Lyke’s film. To be 5’7 and a pure scorer? Spectacular. A mix of Lillard, D-Lo(if he could hit half the shots he jacks up), and Nate Robinson
@VisionDrivenBasketball

Absolutely. With the green light he has, you can expect some lower efficiency. But every season he’s gotten more and more efficient and last year he shot 43% overall and 38 from 3. Excited to see his next step forward.

Coach Ethan, I have a question. My friends say I'm very fast but they also say I'm very out of control. How do I prevent this? Additionally, I still don't get how to use my off arm. Could you do a Chris Lykes workout? Lastly, thx for these great videos. They are very helpful and honestly I wouldn't be half as good at basketball as I am right now if you didn't post these videos.
@VisionDrivenBasketball
@VisionDrivenBasketball 3 роки тому
It’s important to be fast, but you have to know how to play with pace if you want to be under control. Here’s a video that explains that: ukposts.info/have/v-deo/mXRnd3hnboKqlok.html Using your off arm is simply about getting the defender’s hand off you. If you drive to the left, you use your right hand to swipe the defender’s hands off of you.

Undersized in the NBA is 6ft. Im 5'7, sometimes I feel like I can't score in iso no matter what I do. I play with collegiate and HS players, mostly 6ft or taller.. I burn my guy, he gets the chasedown block anyway. I create space, he closes the distance in one step.

6'4 13 yo here, size is definitely an advantage, but it's not everything. Shifty little guards are some of the hardest people to defend, of course us bigs at a young age don't have the coordination to keep up with them, but speed and skill matters more than height.
