I believe the reason being is of my passion to really follow my desire to learn every possible about dogs! After all these years I've never lost my passion for that one big drive in me. I have several other hobbies that keeps me occupied, but my dogs are always with me. Funny as I've gotten older I've began to notice that approx. 90% of the people I train my dogs with are also childless. I've never psychoanalyze that subject matter, cause honestly I could care less. (Probably because even though we train together, the motive of the relationship we're striving for with our dogs couldn't be more different!) But, it is an interesting observation. Take care friend.

No, no, no! As a psychiatric nurse, I've seen cases like this. That young man raised his sisters because he became the adult in the family unit. Mom abdicated her role due to her husband's bullying and constant narcissistic self absorption. She had to submerge herself in order to survive. That left Jackson to assume the role of the clear-thinking adult. He was the adult in the family. He was the responsible one. The family was able to survive because of Jackson. Now he's gone...mommy threw him out. Let's see how far she gets without her son being her guide. I suspect that she will rapidly decompensate ( a medical term for losing mental stability). The girls will either stay with mom and decompensate too, or will leave.

This boy-child dishonored his mom by harming her husband, his own dad and their family. There are a lot of super-selfish motivations on behalf of the son to do a lot of different things that he thought was proper. But he is wrong on a lot of things. He has and will cause a lot of stress and problems for his whole family and each individual member. That is a sign of immaturity and a bunch of other things.
