SpaceX's Starbase Soaring for Starship Flight 4! Falcon’s 300th landing...
The excitement is palpable as SpaceX gears up for what could be a historic milestone: Flight 4. With each passing day, the anticipation builds, and SpaceX engineers are laser-focused on ensuring the success of this pivotal mission.
Following upgrades to the flame trench system and Booster QD, SpaceX is forging ahead with preparations for the mission. Let's delve into the latest developments.
SpaceX's Starbase Soaring for Starship Flight 4! Falcon’s 300th landing...
First up, let's examine the hardware for this flight. S29 has been stationed in the High Bay for nearly a month since its roll on March 29. During this period, meticulous attention has been devoted to the heat shield, underscoring the importance of ensuring every detail is meticulously addressed.

In a recently updated image, the nose cone of S29 stands proudly adorned with a fresh set of heat shield tiles-a testament to the meticulous attention to detail invested in its preparation. While this work likely concluded several days ago, the unveiling of a clear image now serves to confirm its completion.

it would be nice if they would be able to get it into orbit and back and land the first stage booster. but i will believe it is ready when they can saftly launch run an automated mission and return while landing the first stage booster when it happens. it would be better if we have better technology that was able to go faster and better on fuel than rockets as we could then explore the solar system instead of sending probes and going beyond.

Replace starship nose cone with the dragon capsule (when humans are launched) Doubling as escape capsule and lunar ascent module, leaving starship as lunar base.🚀🌛

Good lord can you please for all that is decent stop fluffing every 3rd word with stuff like "meticulous" or "unwaivering commitment" it's not doing anything for the subject matter at this point and actually does the opposite, hurts the actual message.

Perlite not ” perilite “
@stevencatone
@stevencatone 10 днів тому
Used with a good mix of vermiculite and adding to your soil will add perfect drainage while retaining proper amounts of h2o in the soil. A layer of perlite on the surface of your soil can also help combat some unwanted pests. Or pack in around giant tanks to absorb shrapnel, hopefully.

So how much space satellites and space kites ect is too much surrounding the earth? How long before a rocket hits one because it is too crowded up there? Is there anybody watching over the space of space over earth? Just curious.
@BillingsTom
@BillingsTom 10 днів тому
That depends on the way they are built, and how they are handled. Huge LEO satellites stretching hundreds of meters around themselves, and placed in orbit by final stages that stay in orbit with propellants that corrode their pressurized tanks, could have fewer without collision. If we can clean out the old final stages from orbit, to keep them from "popping" corroded tanks into many pieces of debris, and simply use fully reusable launchers as soon as possible, while placing large satellites in higher orbits, where there is 8 times the volume for 2 times the distance from the Earth's center, then we can place many more satellites at low risk of collision. Getting existing final stages out of orbit will help as well. Following the SpaceX norm of de-orbiting final stages from LEO will also help. Whether we can get others to change the way they build rockets will depend on demonstrating it can be done with Starship.

Of course. Everything about a foot in diameter and bigger is tracked. Not just satellites, but all the junk too
