Oblivion is the state of being completely forgotten or unknown. “I'm in between the sky and sea… I'm in between entrapped and free.” The song sonically and lyrically defines the conscious expression of experiencing the paradox of life and death. Ultimately we are all in the search for a sense of salvation. The visual were shot in Prague which fully embodies the darkness while in search of the light - the landscape of the city has the same tones and helped display the beautiful tragedy.

I'm re watching it so I can come clear with what the video means to me. You spend a lifetime trying to scape from oblivion but it is not until you die that you can reach such salvation but the fact that the whole time your brothers are following you, represents the void you left behind. It is heartbreaking to see that you being saved from oblivion leaves your loved ones in such an oblivion for themselves. This is such a masterpiece 🖤

I am deeply touched. The video is such a touching realisation of the song, melody and atmosphere. Even if the weather may certainly not be comfortable for filming, it only underlines the lyrics and the image that is set to the song here. A truly touching masterpiece. It couldn't have been better than in black and white. And - is that (sometimes) Remy as a lady in white / angel? Beautiful.

My theories: Remington found what he was looking for in the end. He became one with the light (the bride or maybe god) and the darknesses (play by Sebastian and Emerson). The darknesses inside lives in peace with him now. I just want to say Oblivion is beautiful. It reminded me of Morning light and Die for something beautiful. This is something I would die for.
