youtube does allow it, the major labels are the ones copyright striking. hence they don't want their artists music used. if they cleared the copyright, youtube wouldn't mind since they don't hold any rights to those.

@@ItsMadRiv well mostly they do cut deals. Labels just copyright the music, get the ad revenue and the video doesn’t get taken down. Assuming that you as a creator have the right to use this stuff and it’s UKpostss job to buy you these rights is not how the world works. Should labels cut deals with big shots like David? Yes, absolutely. Should they allow all 1k sub mini channels to use the music? No, absolutely not.

Sorry don’t mind me I’m just crying that this amazing man with such amazing skills and talent was homeless. And WE AS A COMMUNITY lifted him up and brought his music back to life. Devastating that it going so bad for him, but a true life lesson of “never give up”. Thank you Todd and Brett for bringing him and sharing a small part of his story.

i remember listening to carolina liar so much around 2008 i didn't know any of the band members' names, this man Chad has been through his own hell and back and still so much humility to him to what can be sometimes a cruel world. I posses so much love and thankfullness for this podcast touching my soul deeply.
