david...im 26 and got hit by an SUV last June riding my skateboard, and shattered my face/orbital the same way Jeff did, got surgeries and all that and he brought me on his one podcast afterwards to talk about it it was awesome. and ya know, i can't imagine if it was my friend driving the car, because that adds an entire dynamic to the trauma i have now from that accident. What makes more sense to me is Natalie has always done David’s ‘dirty’ work, was responsible for coordinating Jeff’s medical bills, was getting upset of how the ‘problem’ wasn’t going away and how it was effecting David negatively (the only way they are able to make money on SM) and started being petty by paying bills late and planning trips when Jeff couldn’t go. They have always cut people off when it brings negative press (a business move), which makes the person desperate to get back in good with the group, and they hoped Jeff would get over it to be back in their graces. But this is too serious to just cut off and move on, and they are too young and immature to deal with it appropriately. If David and his team were able to take the next step in production, they would have already. This just shows his team doesn’t have the ability to do so, and if he wants to do something dangerous, he needs to do it himself. He has never put himself in danger but recklessly will put his ‘friends’ in danger. He’s too old to say he should not know better.

I'm only 7 minutes in but I completely agree with Jason, this is exactly the type of content the fans want. When David started the podcast he said he wanted it to be real, and that's what I was looking forward to. No one is happy every single day. We need to normalize that life isn't always perfect. It helps us re-humanize ourselves by adding the language and vocab to our feeings and experiences. David is uncomfortable with being vulnerable like most are.
