Survivorman - Les Stroud

Survivorman - Les Stroud

3 роки тому

Les tracks Bigfoot in the ancient red cedar forests of Northwest California.
Sixty miles in-land from Eureka, California sits the land of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Here, the wide trunks of ancient red cedar trees stand like old guardians; their disorienting and protective branches stretching for miles towards the northwest sky. It’s easy to get lost here. And this old forest is dangerous. It’s the densest black bear territory in California…and a hot spot for Bigfoot activity. Les heads back out into the wilderness in search of Sasquatch. Les isn’t a believer - not yet. He needs irrefutable proof. He’s got to catch one on film. The town of Hoopa is swimming in Sasquatch stories. Les sifts through the evidence, talking to the locals, looking for signs, and attempting to invoke an encounter.

To all of you control freaks who like to think that you are one step higher on the evolution rungs. I say shut the hell up. What you can do or are good at isn't necessarily the same thing for others. You judge these people as ignorant or less a person because they have or have not had the same opportunities for a higher education is bullshit. Alright, story time. So a few years back, I lived in the mountains of the pacific northwest, and I was going hiking/morel hunting with my dog. I was on this ridge called Bethel Ridge between highway 12/410. So after a few hours of mushroom hunting with my dog, we get back in the car and start heading home. As I am driving on this ridge, which was gorgeous, and on sheer cliffs, there was a sign alerting me to "Rocks Falling." and lo-and-behold the rocks were falling. I ended up hitting this MASSIVE rock and it ripped the oil pan apart. Immediately panicked I put the car in neutral and starting rolling down the mountain with the car off. Already being 40 miles from nowhere and no phone service, eventually the car came to standstill and I was stranded in deep woods. Gah, and immediately getting out of the car, my dog gets spooked and runs off on me and I feel pretty scared. A few hours passes, and then FINALLY the dog comes back and a truck comes into view. I flag him down and the gentleman immediately responds, "you hit the rocks and lost your oil pan eh?" He agrees to give me a lift out to civilization. "My name is Bob Gimlin! I discovered bigfoot!" First thought... oh fuck who is this crazy am I going to die. lol But talking with him about bigfoot on the hour ride back was eye-opening. Like he was just sincere and really.. patriarchal and kind. Apparently he and some Russian scientists were surveying the area because of reports of sasquatch sightings. It was very interesting. He maintains bigfoot is out there, and it was surprising to google him upon getting home and, holycrap it was really Bob Gimlin and damn is that video he caught convincing. Maybe the sasquatch threw rocks at my car. So yea, anyway, that's my story of meeting Bob Gimlin deep in the woods. Super nice guy and we lived in the same city.

I've camped in these areas and believe it or not trees do make knocking sounds. Your imagination can run wild when your miles from civilization all alone in the woods. What a beautiful experience when it's completely dark and there are millions of stars in the galaxy and it's just you and these huge pines. The forest is alive with living things and I have had my moments of waking up at 2 or 3 am in the morning feeling like there was someone or something standing outside my tent. I come across these bigfoot prints every once in awhile. I believe there is something out there.

I did a bigfoot pilgrimage to Willow Creek in early 2019 and like Les says at 8:15ish... feelings aren't facts, but there's something about the woods there that just... feel... weird. Me and my girlfriend at the time went for a walk in an off season trailer campground; beautiful little spot with a small creek running on one side and a large mountain with slope full of conifers on the other. Beautiful, but mossy and kind of dark for a daytime hike. I wish I could have enjoyed it but I spent the entire time with my anxiety at 9 and this undeniable feeling that something was on the hill, looking down at us. We got to the end of the trail and I suggested we turn around. Soon as we got to the park entrance, I let the guard down and exclaimed to my girlfriend, "sorry I was acting weird but I just felt crazy anxious like something was on that hill watching us" and she looked back and me and said, "I felt it too".

Walking down the road, within site of the house He built on a small lake. When we smelled a strong oder. BAD.! stopped us in our tracks, looked at eachother said "what the h is that smell".!? Then The hairs on our necks stood up. Instinct. 2 seconds after we spoke, there was crash crash in the woods, twenty feet away. Not a Dear. we saw a small tree go down. waited a few minutes, then went to house. Next day we had 4 friends come track the woods. no guns or dogs. saw matted foot prints in ferns for 1/2 mile then just vanished.?? never told friends what happened. Told them we saw a wounded Bear. LOL!) that you can do a director's cut of each of these episodes and tell us all of the many behind-the-scenes stories, observations and feelings that you had. I also hope that, in time, there will be many more seasons Survivorman Bigfoot. Each episode is exciting, dramatic, and intriguing. It combines the love of nature with the wonder of nature so eloquently. Thank you Les, so very much!

I love the way you are persistent even though you haven’t had a visual. YET.. as soon as the dead tree was laid at your feet, I knew your trip was dangling on the spiritual side of things. That was an awesome video. Having your Native guide adds to the spirituality of your expedition. Sometimes seeing isn’t always believing. Sometimes the hair on the back of your neck is all the testimony you need. But continue your journeys please. I love your videos. I love the forests. I love the “ knowing of the unknown”. There’s the possibility also that you will have an encounter and feel deeply in your soul that you should keep it between you and them. Be safe. And thanks again. ❤

Big foot and his family are very active in Canada N.S every where. I have major story's of my own. I gp bigfoot hunting since I had my first encounter when I was 4. He chased my parents out of the woods. They thought I was running behind them. I wasn't. I was walking not knowing what is chasing us. My Parents turned around and seen I wasn't there. When they did see me he was right behind me. My parents telling me to run and don't turn around. I had no fear. I never ran, still only walking and wondering why my parents were so scared to even come near me. I turn around to see wha the fuss was about. I got a face full of redish brown hair. I turn around still not scared and only walking. He never touched me, no noise. He left after 5 mins or more. I was told I am a blessed one that's why he never touched me. I have more encounters of 5-7 of them at once following me and only 10-15 feet away. They turned out to be my friends and my watchers as I grew up. If you want to know more and with details msg me. I'd be more than happy to share.

I think Les should be off road more, further in the bush. I see a lot of shows where they patrol the road only, get remote and find the range. Also the question about why we never find bones, I would say after being in the bush for many years I have yet to find the bones of a bear. We are in heavy black bear country as well as some grizzly and never have I found a skeleton. I have found deer and moose bones, usually around their wintering yards. I like his straight up comments and reasoning.

Really interesting you mentioned your gear malfunctioning. We just had a similar experience while investigating a site here in Australia. A piece of electronic gear that has never played up suddenly decided to malfunction as soon as we began filming. It lasted several minutes before we were able to get it working correctly. It's never done this before and I tried to reason it away but I had this niggling thought in my mind that this was caused by something other than a basic malfunction. I've had gear fail because of rain and humidity but not malfunction the way this did. It was like something was making the controls react a certain way I couldn't override. Weird stuff!! Cheers, John

“Most native cultures don’t fear Sasquatch. They respect them” Well … look up a list of native names for the creature and their actual meanings. You’ll find that between a quarter yo a third of the names mean demon, cannibal, devil, hunter of women, etc. Those names communicate deep fear. Also, Les should go up to Alaska, where most of the tribes describe a man-eating creature that actively hunts human. It specifically uses the sounds of babies crying when it wants to entice women, and mimics the sound of women in distress when it wants to attract men. Check out Subarctic Alaska Sasquatch channel and listen to the reports given to Fred Roehl up there. Eye opening and horrific.

There is "Something" about the lower Klamath River valley that is...supernatural (there, I said it, me the skeptic). I refused to drive 96 at nighttime...it would be just too freaky for a white guy. In the mid 90's when I and my ex wife were traveling we lived in the woods north of Trinidad California right next to the Pacific Ocean and we found a old barn in the woods to keep out of the rain that just rains all winter long in costal Humboldt county and I had to not only gather fire wood every night but had to dry out the wood I planned on burning the next day. We were young and cooked rice, beans, and other things we got to eat and would pick muscles off the rocks on the beach and cook them over our fire every night and we picked a lot of berries to eat and then in 2001 we returned to Trinidad California with our 2 kids with us and visited that old barn. It was sad to see that it had been damaged by people but in any case it was something to be living in those woods every night for about 2 or 3 months and we moved on and came back to the east coast but we heard a lot of sounds in those woods. We knew what sounds the seals on the beach made and this was different, not every night but every now and then. Being that I was in the Navy as a Special Operator before I met my ex wife and all although I dont want to share any secrets I learned from the military, I will tell you that I knew how to set up our camp so we would not be detected by the F.L.I.R. on helicopters so we did not get found out there but the locals did see us going into the woods every day and eventually we had to move. We never seen any creatures in the woods but we heard a lot of strange noises and back then we had no computes or cell phones or information about the Bigfoot so Bigfoot was not on our minds at all back then but now with the sounds I have heard on UKposts and what other people have described in the videos I am like O.M.G. I have heard the same sounds in the woods and have seen tree breaks up high and figured maybe a bear broke the tree trying to climb it but now I know what we heard back then and I am very thankful that I and my ex wife did not have a sighting or end up as a missing 411 persons case becase we also went inland and hiked and camped in the woods for long periods and inland we heard a lot more strange things and we were in the area of willow creek and did not belive in Bigfoot at that time but Man..... we had them close to us and I thank God almighty that the Bigfoot did not mess with us then.

Les. i have been a bigfoot believe for a long time. Its been 42 years since that time happened, but will never forget it. This happened on the niobrara river south of spencer nebraska about 5 miles. At the time the river was really low but there was a main stream of the river that was apprx. 20 feet wide and about 5 to six foot deep. The average big man couldnt of crossed itto save his soull. I was hunting geese on the river with a friend of mine and we were on a sand bar right along the main channel. Wehad set out a few decoys and were beded down for night about 1 ocklock in the morning. There was nature at its fines everything was making noise. And the moon was as full as you could get it. You could walk and see your shadow. But a few minutrs later it was just like God shut the record player off. Every thing went deathly quiet. My buddy and i got up and was looking around and spotted a creature walking on two feet from our right to left. It was apprx 200 foot away from us. I looked at my friend and we both spoke profanity. But we both realized that this creature was going to cross the river. Well it hit the river and instead of walking across the stream it walked up stream. there was white water coming over the top of this creature. It went apprx 100 feet and crossed the river and went up into the hills and into the cedars. To our shock amd amazement we didnt try and find it or any tracks. But it had come out of a group of trees. with swamp between it and the river. I am assuming that it was traveling up the river to the rocky mountain.

Please people pick up a Bible! Genesis tells us that the angels the watchers lusted after the daughters of men! Came down and had relatuons with them but it didn't stop.there! They mated with beasts n fish etc here's where things like this come from! And its all true! You know I hear so many darwinsists speak of how ridiculous bieleving in god is! N how could Christians just take the word of a bunch of ancient dead guys! But aren't they doing the same? Also DNA is like a computer program! This been said what happens when you start adding junk code into a computer program does it mutate n become.a better program or does it corrupt what was once orderly n worked n inevitably destroy it?! Energy electricity never is destroyed! Just misplaced! We bieleve in things we cannot see more than most realize! We've just been programed to not see or aknowledge it! Goliath was one of many giants! And mythology wasn't such a myth after all! Aliens are nothing more than fallen angels! Or they're worker drones! And sasquach is somehow connected they have access to technology obviously they had a huge head start on us!and they're fathers are of a much higher order ! But make no mistake these things hate us! I find it funny that Satan told God he will never serve those monkey's! Us! And what does darwinism say we evolve from?! Hmm

Ouff, good one! The only skeptical thought I may have had was that maybe that tree that fell was the dead head making the knocking noise. But if the noises continued after your fire was started, you KNOW, that's not the case. And I'm 100% a believer, just to be clear. But I'm also an Empath. When you said you were provided with dry wood, I was in tears because I knew instantly it was a gift and you had proven your worth. I'm also sure you found one of their, "knock," trees. Nothing more will send out that hollow thunk than a big ol' hollowed out cedar. That bark looked pretty beat up from the outside too. And it also just came to me that that's exactly the reason why they haven't had to interfere with you Les. You respect the woods while you're in there, you don't need to be reminded. 🎯❤️🇨🇦

Here is a thought. It is hollow. Probably a woodpecker or a flicker inside chowing down on insects. A crashing nearby tree would be enough to make them stop.
