Survivorman - Les Stroud

Survivorman - Les Stroud

3 роки тому

Les plants himself in Bigfoot hot spots across North America, collecting stories and experiences from Bigfoot believers, gathering and examining evidence to debunk the mysteries that surround this ancient legend. Les has had his own eerie experiences in the wild, things he can’t quite explain, but he isn’t a Bigfoot believer. It’s not his job to say it’s an alien or an ape. It’s his job to wage war in the middle ground, where a battle is raging for reason. But what happens when reason isn’t enough? Over and over, Les encounters people who approach Bigfoot from a more spiritual angle. Is there an intelligent life-form surviving in the forgotten wilderness of our world? And if so, does it want to be found?

@@theshape3988 Sure, I'll have a look. I'm not so much into debunking. I frankly have an opened mind. Pretty easy for me to believe there is or WAS something out there, given Native American lore, the "recent" discovery of the mountain gorillas and my personal experiences with bears in the wilderness. (In 30 years of backpacking and high country fishing I've never SEEN a bear while solo in the backcountry, yet I've seen plenty of bear sign. All the bears I've seen have always been around where people ie food are. Even had one come into camp while in my tent but by the time I got dressed to chase it away, it was gone.) I'm not a true believer. I'm not a hater. I genuinely like Les' approach and I'm always eager to see the evidence or lack there of. So yeah, I'll check out your channel. Thanks. If you like knives and backcountry travels, check out mine. LOL. (You too Les, please. I'd love feedback. :D )

Strange you saying that, bcos when I watch these sasquatch videos by the more serious researchers I sometimes sense an awareness sensation even through the phone screen and I'm 3000 miles plus distant. I also sense sasquatch is more of a spiritual being. Able to shapeshift and read thoughts and intents. 🥀😔🙏

It has happened on more than one occasion that crows, in particular, have a tendancy to leave gift for their favourite people. When i was a child i used to give the crows in my garden food (like normal birdsseeds-food). The days i gave one special crow half an oreo, he ALWAYS dropped off something shiney on the porch in the evenings. HOURS later since my gift to him. Crows are highly intelligent and empathic. I am convinced there are more of these intelligent beings out there…

The key to it is simple, common sense, with an emphasis on just finding the truth. TY

Yeah, no kidding. I watched them on Discovery and they haven't shown them anymore. I made dumb recordings on my VHS just to make sure that I could watch them again. They are grainy and got SHIT-loads of Commercials. BUt, here they are clear, easy to watch non-stop, because on TV, they always cut him off. He'll be doing something, then they break where they shouldn't. I think it has happened on every episode. Thus, I am glad that they are here where we can WATCH THEM LIKE THEY WERE MEANT TO BE SHOWN - not chopped up, commercials to "Force Us" to buy things that we couldn't care less about, and then write-over the end before a new show to preview something else we don't care about.

What an ending to this episode! Wow! Freaky! I have experienced this too. Its crazy freaky that as we sleep in the perceived safety of our tent,, only a thin piece of nylon fabric inches away separates us from.....the unknown. I've had a few experiences in the back country in Utah that I'll always wonder about with something poking at the tent. One time camped deep in the high Uintas something large with what sounded like large feet came out of the brush, walked up to the side of our tent and then tripped over the guy line,, jerking the entire tent which pulled the stake out waking us both and then stomped off into the brush. Neither of us dared unzip the door to look out! Its so weird when it happens when you were in a deep sleep you wake,,adrenaline flowing, ponder awhile listening intently and then dismiss it and go back to sleep when it seems gone and is silent again and you don't feel an imminent threat. You think to yourself,, whatever it was it just seemed curious and meant no hrm. But, I tell you if i E V E R heard that howling screaming sound id pack up everything and hit the trail immediately and not look back.

Ok at 4:40 when he showed the twisted stick, I freaked out. I live in BC and years ago when I was hiking off in the forest, I found a twisted, circular stick just like that and brushed it off as “oh, someone else happened to walk through here and did this”. When I took it home, I randomly decided to make my own dreamcatcher out of it. Even added my prized eagle feather and my favourite crystals on as decoration. This just gives it a whole new meaning. Les maan they like you 😂😅 probably the only reason ur camps hasn't had any rock showers ! I noticed they never growl at you or yell. They always sneak around you specifically (can't say that w all the others) and do very gentle things like push down on ur tent and move some items and let their babies take apples. These things mean they trust you man, they respect you. Other people come disrespecting and immediately get chased out of the area. Les comes 3 days after the carnage and all they do is check him out. Pretty sure it's cuz ur a fellow woodsman and you always come with respect and never smell like gunpowder or stolen lunches. I got so much more props for you than most others brthr thx for ur work keep doing what you do 🙏 this episode is so soothing with the rain in the tent love it❤

I heard a tree knock at 4am completely dead quiet no wind. Then 10 minutes later another. Then a tree fall or limb fall then 2 pissed off snorts that sounded like a horse. Then I thought my neighbor was talking loud at his dog but it took half a second for me to realize I could feel the bass! It spoke 4 or 5 seconds and it sounded exactly like someone would portray a caveman talking. It was so loud and it was trying to be quiet. It was just above a whisper. THE BASS WAS UNREAL!! Illinois.

@@KennethNicholson1972 I went out to smoke a cigarette. I was sitting in my car looking at my phone when I heard the first far off tree knock. Then I rolled my window down and ten minutes later heard the next knock. Around 15 minutes later I heard the 2 snorts. It was more of a exasperation of air with cheeks flapping, 10 minutes later I heard the tree fall, I heard the leaves on the tree as it fell. Then ten minutes later I heard something with as much bass as a sub woofer blasting a low ohm , speaking just under its breath. If this thing screamed at someone while close; it would shut them down.

@@fredfrance1495 That is truly terrifying. Just the sound of a natural tree fall is overwhelming when you are out in the wild. I only ever experienced that once in Bristol England. But put into context with all the other phenomena you experienced in such a short time, it is all too easy to come to One obvious conclusion. That is something I am sure you will never forget.

This episode was a big disappointment. And that lady sounds like a total loon. If Bigfoot is a physical creature, I’m all ears. But if they are just the product of someone doing lsd or mushrooms, get lost. I have no time for New Age nonsense. They always hijack everything. There are no portals, no cloaking, no telepathy, and no unicorn-riding or rainbow-farting Sasquatches. It’s either flesh and blood or it’s just one big hoax.

Got a new fan Les! I've only watched one of your survivorman shows so far. Being from Arctic Alaska I never had interest only because I grew up culturally which includes surviving off of the land. But after watching your awesome bf shows, I think I will look at some and see how you do it just to satisfy my curiosity. I like how you go to different environments too, which is very helpful for others who travel beyond their own region to other countries.
