They designed that Lambo to be able to run 118 mph on the beach. The front spun 15% faster than the rears did, I believe. Remember reading an article in Car and Driver about it back in the 80's. Probably still have it actually.

My uncle bought a used black on grey '93 GMC Typhoon back in '96-'97ish. Purchased out of Robb Report magazine (like a cross between Maxim magazine and the old buy/sell/trade, except it's pretty much just for rich people). Price tag exceeded $40,000! and had to go to another province to get it. Driving that thing was quite an experience. I've only been in a handful of V8 powered cars that could match the performance of that little turbo'ed V6 because of all the GoFast GMC bolted on, plumbed in and filled it with (special pistons, rods, heads, valves etc.. - from the factory!) Absolutely ridiculous to drive- in a good way. Because it was all wheel drive and had about 12" wide tires front and rear, it cornered like it was on rails, and went like a bat out of hell, even in the rain.. And if you wanted to test that 0-60 time, grab a foot full of throttle and the off the line acceleration was like somebody attached a cable to it at a red light, and tied the other end to a dump truck doing 55! Unfortunately parts weren't cheap or plentiful. T-case blew one day and it sat at the shop for about a month, waiting for its new unit to show up. Sadly, It went to the dealer for some work on another occasion, and the service guys didn't put it inside at night and somebody decided to steal it.. T'was never seen again.

When I was a kid my family was able to get a company car because of a move my dad negotiated that diesel q7, in a nice ass dark brown and matching leather interior... was by far our favorite car thing ripped, our actual family car and what we still had by the time I was able to drive was a 5 speed 2007 corolla, but the Rockin' Rolla was still fun (for my still young probationary license ass) and that fucked up clutch got me good for anything that's thrown at me lmao. After airborne porch furniture and other debris took my one and only partner as a write off in a gnarly storm, we were able to get a 2017 5 speed Jetta and I'm sorry corolla I miss you, but I'm in love with another transmission now

I freaking hate the SUV popularity because a sedan drives much better and with a station wagon you got the SUV practicality. HOWEVER, I can see why the SUVs have taken over (at least in Canada) First, you can’t even freaking speed anymore: Traffic jams, speed cameras, shitty roads, etc. Then, the SUVs these days have very comparable fuel efficiency as regular sedans, and they’re much easier to get in and out of. They have better ground clearance against snow. In the days when almost every vehicle in front of you is a van, truck or an SUV with tinted windows, it really helps to have a higher vehicle to see the road ahead. So yeah, as a daily driver I reckon an SUV is best here

I test drove a range of SUVs of a particular brand. As you went up in the range, the burble and pops from the exhaust just increased. It's exactly what I didn't want. We ended up in the base model.

@@gardenstatePR I don't think I have ever seen a politician drive a truck or any suv that would be in the list and I have many friends who work in politics so see what their co-workers drive fairly often. Most of the time when you see them rolling in the excursions/suburbans - those are government owned fleet vehicles and not owned or seldom driven by the politician themselves.

My brother has a suburban 2500 with the 8.1 and man that thing has smoked so many other 5.3 suburbans and silverados lmao plus it can tow really good plenty of power and the suspension doesn't sag like the regular suburbans do when towing
