The drone coverage and photographic capture of the sunrise over this forest is award-winning film - just breathtaking. The baby playing with the cat on HIS terms and all the 'chatting' that went on was a sign of excellent things to come. So smart.

Tova, Mathias and Evar: I have spent the last month bingeing about an hour a day watching your story unfold chronologically. I wanted to see it all before I made any comments. I’m glad I did. In my profound enjoyment of your vlogs, I find such a powerful story of the journey and circle of life! Your lives are so wonderfully and seamlessly connected to Nature and the changes of seasons and the support of the neighboring village. It is such a powerful, yet gentle rebuke of the way most people live! Your stories expose the myths most of humanity take as foundational truth: 1. That striving for ever more progress in the form of wealth and material goods is our purpose. 2. That we humans are central to everything important that happens and the rest isn’t worth paying attention to. 3. That we exist apart from nature. I am happy to be a new patron for such a wonderful family with such powerful ideas the world needs to hear. May you get one million viewers and more. Keep dreaming and be well!

@johnny Good The big worry about leaving something historical for your future people, is that everything is in digital form now and easily removed or subverted by those wishing to control the past and the future. At least with physical film, photos, video tape, books etc it could be stored more safely / secretly.

The cutest part of your video was obviously at 35 minutes I’m sure no one would deny. The backflip off of your small shed I give it a nine out of 10 you must work on the landing. Ha ha ha we are working on getting through this winter together thank you for your video.

I really loved the moonlit ski trip... it was so beautiful! Alhamdulilah! So much snow... it's really nice to see the real winter life overseas because here in the tropics, we have summer all year round. It's hard to imagine thick snow covering the land and so much cold that even the stream is frozen solid.

Your Moonlite ski was like watching a movie. The light from it shining on the snow making it look like diamonds sparkling, absolutely magical to watch. You both work extremely hard but have such a beautiful full life living this way. It shows in your faces how much you are filled with the joys and hardships that you go through each day and the amazement from what nature shows you. Thank you for capturing it on film and sharing it with us all. Also as a Patreon, seeing your beaming smiles as you play with Ivar at the end is thanks enough 😘

@@Talasbuan those sort of temperatures are hard for me to imagine. Here in Sydney Australia , the coldest it gets in winter is about -2 degrees C. Of course, at the other end of the spectrum, it can reach 40 degrees C in summer.

Best wishes from snowy Russian North-West. We have a lot of snow and cold this winter, but not as much you do. And yeah, we wish spring to come, little bit tired of this snow (we live in old cabin too). I just wanted to say, that we love your channel, so amazingly beautiful sights and gorgeous northern nature. Thank you for this opportunity. My kids absolutely love Ivar! So do I. Wish you all the best! Lena.

Clear night skies in winter usually equal very cold weather, especially around full moons. It's like this in Canada where I live. Your climate in Sweden is similar to ours. Your drone footage and skiing in full moon is breathtaking. You are very courageous to live the way you live. You have all my respect. Stay safe.
