I loved her plain clothes and beautiful freshly washed face because she was enough! When I saw her recently, she had ornate makeup, updo and somehow the On Your Knees genius seemed to be hiding. Why? 😢

Her having a Netflix special is all the affirmation we need to believe in a secret society that can catapult your career regardless of talent, as long as you follow some secret agreement or are "in the loop". This is incredibly unfunny, and i hate all the heady (no pun intended) snobs who keep saying, "well you just aren't intelligent enough to get it!" I should not have to have a fuckin college degree in literature/poetry to enjoy and LAUGH at a comedy set. Like come on! I get trying to elevate an art form but this is like musicians recording a full album of complete silence beginning to end, and then saying they are advancing music as an art form. Wouldn't we all agree that while music is subjective, the ONE quality ALL music needs is auditory sound? This is just pretentious bull shit! And if I am not "smart" enough to appreciate it then so be it, I'd rather remain dumb and appreciate the true comedians of today such as Shane Gillis, Dave Chappelle, Nikki Glazer, Sarah Silverman, and Taylor Tomlinson.
