@@reecestone5608 heavier does give you more force to the tyres, but because of physics it's also harder to stop, you should check out newton's laws of motion. Volvo have a better tyres and smarter ABS. more force to the tyres DOES gives you better braking, but not with weight, you'll need downforce. So, if you want a better braking distance you'll need better tyres, or wider tyres, or downforce, or all 3 of those above

They set up their brake systems to be good at EMERGENCY braking, Audi uses pad compounds that are less susceptible to brake fade when the brakes get hot during spirited driving. Volvos breaks are designed to be good when the brakes arent hot (normal driving) the Audis are designed to work when the brakes are hot (high performance driving)
