Prime Rafa I think is the toughest player ever. I will never forget how well Rafa played in 2010, especially that US Open final against Djokovic. The hunger on his face to get a career grand slam I never saw from Federer nor Djokovic and he was so quick. I think the 2010 Rafa was even quicker than the 2011 Nole or the 2006 Roger. Something about his energy - the bomb serves he was serving at Djokovic that night - was telling me that he was inetibly getting the career grand slam - he was ready for that occasion more than anybody I have ever saw in the history of this sport. Rafa was probably serving as fast, throughout the entire tournament, as Pistol Pete. If not for his injuries, Rafa would probably have had close to 30 grand slam titles by now. One thing I would say though is Rafa has never really been that great on fast indoor courts. That's probably the only thing missing from his arsenal - his indoor performances. If Rafa can win the Paris Masters and the WTF, that would be amazing, as Rafa pretty much has won everything else.

@@seadkapic4768 Look, I am a Novak fan but we can't deny that Rafa had the worst two years of his career in 2015 and 2016, similarly to what Novak experienced from the end of 2016 till the start of 2018 and Roger throughout the entirety of 2013. Every great player has his ups and downs, even Rafa, that's just sports and being human. It was incredible to see Novak beat Rafa 6 times in a row in 2011 and Roger 4 out of 5 times. I didn't see that coming in 2010 and Novak proved the world that he has been the best player of the decade, Rafa being the close second. 2011 was the year Novak put himself in the GOAT contention. I hope Nole can have another 2011 or 2015 season next year but let's not deny that the 2015 Rafa was nowhere near his best. The 2011 Rafa was close to his best the entire year (not as strong as the 2010 Rafa) but Novak was just unstoppable that year. I don't think I've ever seen anybody have the kind of year Novak had in 2011.

Yes. That's true. The thing is that for example RF and ND both have only a RG and that is also noticeable though they have won quite clay master 1000. I would like Nadal to win one mlre WB or AO but though he gets to the SF is quite difficult against Roger and ND in the last stage of those tournament. Trish O, I can't agree that Fed shares those qualities. If by "determination" you mean mental strength, I don't think Fed is in the same category as Rafa and Djoko, and as for "sportsmanship", well, I remember when Rafa first appeared on the scene, Fed was quite snide and dismissive about him, and I don't consider him a gracious loser. He looks miserable when he loses, unlike Djoko, who always manages to smile and put on a good face.
