Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

I heard his, post tournament comments today on the radio. He talked about wanting to win the Masters so bad. His friends told him, "His victory was already secure at Calvary." I went for the first time on Friday at 44 years old. It lived up to what I thought it would be having watched it on TV for almost my entire life. Definitely go. Every year I'd say "next year I should go" and I finally did it. Now I'm thinking I have to do that every year.

Hopelessly boring, I literally fell asleep after the final 12th hole. Engagement seems to be a problem with the Majors and legacy tours. Notice how the Chairman seemed to not acknowledge LIV Golf in his speech despite 13 marquee players attending. Very disappointing!

Painfully conservative, where will the emerging generation focus their attention? The Masters with their blazers and ties? I don’t think so, better to align with the Senior Tour and create a group of new global Majors to appeal to the emerging generation. Cricket, Tennis and F1 have all moved on.
