Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

If you have a solid faith in something bigger than yourself and a solid foundation of a loving family, the odds of you succeeding in life will be substantially in your favour. Hard work and self motivation helps, but the person who has true purpose is extremely hard to defeat. Well done Scottie!

My favorite thing about Scheffler other than him being a phenomenal golfer is that he has no social media and never reads any articles written about him. There’s no chance he’ll read a single comment in here or on any other social media platform and he’s better for it.

The media should be promoting him the way they did when Tiger was winning. Media says golf is more popular when Tiger is in contention and that hasn't been true for quite some time. Golf doesn't promote these guys. They should. Scottie has won 3 of his last 4 events. Including this Major. And in the Valero event I believe he finished second. Just incredible golf over a long stretch. And he was already the best player in the world heading into these events. Wow. Just wow!

The problem with Scottie, as opposed to Tiger in his prime, is there’s no “ it “ factor. Michael Jordan’s another example. That “ it “ factor, transcends the sport they play, that Scottie just doesn’t have, despite being the best player in the world 🤷♂️.

I don't understand why anybody needs religion to help them become an amazing person. I am not religious at all, but I deeply believe that a great society only exists when the individuals believe in the Golden rule. We must all strive to build a great society of kind and decent people. There is no need for religion to guide us. It's really pretty basic.

Scottie hit the tour in 2020. In 4 years he has 2 Masters and back to back Players Championships along with 5 other wins. Has earned just under 58 million in tour earnings alone not accounting endorsements. He has now been ranked #1 for 80+ weeks. Considering the talent on the PGA tour right now, where any player teeing it up on any given weekend can actually win, Pretty remarkable.

What a benefit it must be to offload everything onto a higher power and let what will be will be. It’s just a fantastic scapegoat to carry with you all the time. Must relieve a great deal of burdens that affect the mental game; such as being able to reset after a bad hole etc. Obviously not an option for rational/scientific thinkers but interesting nonetheless
