Great video, nice overlap with iPad Air one too - the stand and bluetooth keyboard in that one have been fantastic so far - and I feel nicely tooled up for my brand new tech. Lining up the pebble mouse, but the usbc dongle is great as it's my first Macbook with only USBc etc, so thank you for the pointers. Leather sleeve is on the Christmas list 😁

One thing that I would recommend over the usb dongle is the Anker Power Expand. It gives pretty much the same stuff but it is much more compact and doesn’t have the cord. Great Vid Btw!

Loved the video and your content! I just discovered your channel a week ago or so. I will say I have to disagree about the docking the Macbook Air. I'm planning on docking mine once it arrives (I ordered late... Apple says maybe by Christmas? We'll see) and I don't foresee having any issues doing so. I have my desk set up with a Thunderbolt 3 dock that I'm planning to plug the Air in to. My viewpoint here was that I wanted to play with the new M1 chip and will probably sell it in a year or two depending on what Apple releases, but for a "first-generation" product (I know Apple has been making their own silicon for years, you know what I mean) saving a bit made sense to me, especially considering the minuscule performance differences. Either way, man, keep up the great work and great content, love it!

I have a 1tb ravpower ssd and I would defiantly recommend it. Only issue I’ve had with it over the last year is the usb C-C cable it came with stopped working but that was an easy replacement

Hey Everyday Dad, I've just recently purchased the new M1 MacBook Air, which size leather pouch works best? On the website, it has a 16" ( I don't think it's that one ) , a small 13" and a large 13". Some simple cheap stuff. I’m a big fan of a snug keyboard cover and track pad cover. I hate fingerprints everywhere. I also found silicon plugs for keeping out dust for the ports and headphone Jack when not in use. So good.

I just purchased this in gold but in 16GB of Ram so I wouldn't worry about storage. It just depends on how much work and power plus space that you need to last 4 years at least. Lol Fingers Crossed. So far its awesome!

Wonderful video can’t wait for my Mac book air in couple days. I do think that ravpower 120W 4 port charger is one of my best purchases in recent times and a extremely well though out product solid to the boot. I traveled for 2 weeks to other hemisphere and worked flawlessly charging my m1 iPad12.9 , Apple Watch, iPhone 12 max and wife’s phone as well . It is simply i think one of the best products available i think beyond the MacBook Air itself :P

TomToc sleeve for the m1 Air is perfect. The zipper things a myth. Ykk zippers and velvet interior I’m big on protection and that’s the best option especially for $20 on Amazon.

I received my 2020 MacBook Air yesterday, however, I'm waiting for the transparent case to be delivered from Amazon today and then I will set up my MacBook Air. I don't do much but check emails, surf the web for the news, check my SNS accounts and finally the most important: watch videos from various subscriptions. I'm a global fan and so I watch Chinese and Korean dramas, which are very well written and directed. Beautiful heart warming stories that exercise your feelings from laughter to sadness. I do have an Asus Chromebook that I use every day. Looking forward to setting up my MacBook today. Thank you for your tips.

Hi... I watched your video about accessories and got a few ideas.. thanks so much. I don't need an external keyboard or a stand or a mouse. I suppose I would if I worked sitting up at a desk, but I don't. Instead, my normal work position is in my Lazyboy rocker/recliner with a lap desk and my laptop on that. I just use the laptop's keypad and trackpad. For desk surface space I use TV tables on the side. And for a second monitor, I use a 55" Samsung flat screen connected through an HDMI port. So, the only accessary I have, besides my lap desk, is an HDMI converter. Haven't had need for an external power supply or extra storage space yet. I do use some nice Bose earbuds which makes watching video a truly awesome experience with my flatscreen about 8' away while I'm fully reclined (having switched from business to non-business mode). Anyway, thanks so much for the tips. Scott

The Falwedi dongle only supports 4K HDMI at 30hz. Don’t buy it. Always make sure you get a 60hz dongle otherwise all of the M1 smoothness won’t carry over to your external display.

Thanks for all your help! I have a 2018 MacBook Air with 16g ram and a dual core i5 processor that’s suffering since I started shooting 4k with my newer a6600. I only do videos for my construction business and personal hobbies. Nothing insane. A bit of photoshop too. Would an m1 MacBook Air with 16g ram be sufficient , you think? I use airpods pro with all my devices! Note 20 Ultra, Z Fold2, MacBook, tablets. Best noise canceling anywhere! I'm getting a dongle that's close to the edge. Uses both USB-C Ports to attach. Has Microsd & SD card support. Much easier than carrying an external drive. Have everything at hand. Nice video though. Just subbed...
