I really like that kodiak. If I could put a bunk bed above the queen bed i could actually fit maybe kids with us lol.

Unfortunately A year later this now has a price of almost 14k, at 8-9k maybe its worth it but definitely not at 14k

This company has the most practical interior build out for this type and size of camper. With a diesel hot air heater installed this would be great for winter camping. Your camper looks really nice with that great colour combination and it's easy to see what it is that makes you so happy to own it. Thank you for sharing your experience with this lovely camper.

Great camper per video and easily pulled by mid size and up SUV's and small trucks. That camper can easily be heated by a small ceramic heater that you can buy at Walmart for under $34.00 and does a good job and has a thermostat. If an option for a small microwave would also be great for quick meals, etc.. Overall, the unit is practical and affordable. Great video.

Better than the last teardrop I saw a video for, but that's not much of a contest since that thing was basically a bed with an enclosure around it and some cabinets. I know it's not a lot space, but I might could think of some ways to improve on it a bit to add more functionality. For example, ya might could replace that normal window AC unit with one that can also do heat to get both features without losing space.

I have been considering buying a rustic trail. I have followed them on Facebook for a good while. I have been in the owners group to read and listen, I have not posted. I have called, and asked the company questions. This morning I politely asked them on a Facebook post if they have considered making a composite version of the Kodiak off-road. They responded with a long post dismissing me as a potential customer simply since I asked a polite question. I asked more direct questions, and said I didn’t appreciate being dismissed as a customer simply bc I asked a polite question. They deleted all of the discussion, and blocked me on Facebook. This is clearly a company who does not deal with at least some customers in a way I want a company I buy from to respond to customers. Buyer beware! And have screen shots of the entire discussion if anyone wants to see them.

How did this camper pull behind your 4Runner ? I have a newer Tacoma . Just curious.

I still feel like cargo trailers are the way to go here. You could haul everything you want in it and set up cots with cushions for sleeping at a table it is so much more versatile for storage and everything all the way around.

I like my Helio much more! I have a wet bath toilet combo,2 burner stove,sm microwave,fridge,lots of storage ,sink..room 4 a small ac but don't need it much with the overhead fan.

People will just start making their own. Out of my price range for sure.

I like the trailer, but having to be checking calking gives me second thoughts.

Quality looks good but the design?! The back extends to the rear and overhangs the "bumper"! Why not bring the back of the camper straight down from the most rearward point and have even more storage which could be accessible from either the outside or the inside?

14 months later and their prices are up 30% or more. (May '21) The Kodiak Stealth like your show at $8,450 is now $11,950 ($3,500 increase!). I like Teardrops, thought about getting one, but they are grossly overpriced for what you are getting.

Maybe for cold/chilly weather.
