"Battle for Chernihiv" is a three-part documentary, the heroes of which are only military personnel. This is a look at the events of February-March 2022 of both professional soldiers and volunteers, both recruit soldiers and generals and colonels. At the moment, this is the most complete story of the defense of Chernihiv, based on the memories of direct participants in those events.
In the second episode, we will talk about the following:
- The battle near the "Epicenter" hypermarket: how the soldiers of the Armed Forces managed to capture the Russian tank battalion commander Shchyotkin;
- The Russians are bypassing Chernihiv from the west: why did they try to destroy "Sparta's" position;
- "Chornobaivka" from Chernihiv: why did the village of Shestovytsya gain such fame and how many Russians were destroyed there;
- Returned checkpoint and ambush: how Major General Nikoliuk fought with the Russians in Yahidne village;
- Attempts to surround Chernihiv: how the Russian army was defeated in Kolychivka;
- Battles for Lukashivka: how the Russian brothers of Butusin, who fought on the side of Ukraine, died.
