I love this! It would be great if a professional would recreate the outfit as well as a quality prop sword for Katie Wilson so that she could cosplay as this character for a future convention or event when there isn't a pandemic. I really like Katie's concept for this character as well as the finished product that is the illustration. Keep up the great work! PS: A part of me is hoping that Katie Wilson actually sees this comment, as unlikely as it seems to me.

Windso it’s not that I don’t like diversity, it’s that I want it done well. The new mutants feels like it’s making fun of minorities, I have no idea how people don’t find marvel naming their first non binary character Snowflake, an insult used to demean people, offensive. They feel like stereotypes that are seen way too often in media. I have Moebius Syndrome, which means I can’t move my tongue and face well enough to pronounce words, and I want more than anything to have a character like me in a marvel comic, but only if Marvel put thought and care into making a unique character that is their own person aside from having a disability. We deserve better representation than the New Mutants.
