I like how when the zombie was on him, Duke's facial expressions went from "I change my mind, I don't want to do this" to "Oh, hell yeah, baby! Take those off" in less than a second

I know many theories have been passed around, but I'd like to throw out some things that I (and I'm sure others probably) have noticed and created an deduction based off of those. Missi is a high school student based off of her graded papers and college application in her bookbag. Due to her fascination of literature and lack of good grades in subjects such as math, she is obviously a more creative mind than analytical. She goes to find a secluded spot to read, being Duke's castle, and is beset upon by the insistently horny vampire, using his magic cane. A somewhat drawn out struggle ensues until Missi kills Duke by sunlight and takes his cane in the process, transforming her into a vampire as he dies. In the second video, we see Duke as the ruler of Hell following his death, and this, among other things, leads me to believe he is from a prominent vampire lineage and therefore was given the right to rule as he pleased. Thoughts to support this are in the key that he wears around his neck at all times, the cane, and the portrait of his father in the third installment, Resurrection. His father seems to be a prominent vampire as well, and in his portrait, he wears the same key Duke has with him constantly. This leads me to believe this key is a family "heirloom" passed down through the lineage, along with the cane. Firstly, the key is shown unlocking a door to a building in the graveyard in this video, Zombie Prostitute, perhaps a family crypt set outside of the castle grounds? The cane, as well, I believe to be a sentient vampire artifact passed through the family. It was loyal to Duke's family tree, however, it has a lust to continue growing in power with its user. So when Duke began to grow complacent and was eventually killed by Missi, it grabbed at the chance and transformed Missi into a vampire and began twisting her psyche to its goal. But when Missi began to fight back in The Silent, it had to consistently feed her hallucinations of Duke in order to keep her angry and desperate for the power the cane supplied, hence the reason Missi brought back Duke in the first place, because without him, there was no object of anger to keep her shackled to the cane. She escaped briefly and almost left the castle, but unfortunately, Duke was still hanging around outside after his resurrection and debating on the showdown. This triggered the emotional response of her becoming angry and going back to the cane, similar to how a drug addict always feels the need for one more hit (note the tired and horrified looks on her face once she lets go of the cane.) We also see Missi's supposed emergency contact (Ve)nessa showing Duke a missing poster of Missi herself, detailing that it has been a decent amount of time since Missi became a vampire and her family (and friends) are becoming distressed that she is nowhere to be found. And thus, we arrive at Duke preparing for the showdown to win back his castle, cane, and "pride," while Missi (and the cane) sit in his abode, waiting for the moment when they can finally take him down once more.

Missy: *Going insane at the castle and possibly doing unspeakable things* Duke: *C O O C H I E*

Missi is uptight and busy losing her mind over all this vampire stuff while Duke just parties his troubles away all day every day even when killed, reanimated, kicked out of his home and turned into a zombie. Such a fun contrast.

2:30 I wanna meet the spirit of that person who was born in 1820 and died in 2001, I want him to tell me how he did it.

My favorite thing about the Duke is that if you just watch "The Night" he seems like an evil badass, but the other videos make it clear that he's actually peak trainwreck and it's not surprising at all that he got his ass kicked by a nerd with a magic cane.

Duke: sends a note to Missi telling her to get ready for their showdown. Also Duke: Takes the time to nail a zombie and Missi's friend or sister (still unclear who that woman is)

Lord Dracula was remembered for impaling every enemy he met. Duke was remembered for smashing every girl he met.

Gets brought back to life, tries to pick up a chick. Does it in a graveyard. Sounds about right.

Can we just agree that the instrumental interlude is simultanously brilliant and suggestive. I absolutely adore the way to 'interpreted' the shmexy time during the bridge -talk about associations. Als, what's a vampire doing bonking a zombie?

Duke: “There are things you think you wanna see, until you see them and you wish you hadn’t. Me naked is one of them. Let’s leave it at that” Why couldn’t we just leave it at that?

So that girl's name was Venessa, her necklace said so, and she knows Missi. My guess is that Duke took this as an opportunity to find out more about Missi (and to get laid). Also, not a bad song about STD's

This song makes me wanna play either an Undead or Undying warlock whose backstory is that he got really drunk, wandered into a graveyard, banged a lich (somehow) and now has all these weird powers that they have no memory of getting.

To the people who are worried about the animation: it's only for this episode! Daria said this episodes animation will be a bit different than the rest but will return to its normal animation in the next episode.

Ok guys so I just realized that the girl (this minute: 2:33 ) has a collar with the name "Vanessa" (we can supose is her name). And if you pause at the right minute in "Episode 4: The silent"; when Missi hits her bag to the wall, some papers fall of, in one of them we can find the Missi's "Emergency contacs", there are three names; mom, dad and "Nessa". So we can asume that Nessa is this girl, maybe a friend, a sister or something like that, she is worried about her relative, so we now know that Missi's family and friends are looking for her (wich is obvious, but I just wanted to share it with you). Love the animation, and I'm sorry if my english is a little bad, is not my born lenguage but I guess you got the idea

I mean we are all incredibly happy that Duke is finally getting laid but- The skeleton band needs more attention.
