ok but the fact that pipi was able to lift up a whole ass dragon by himself which like 5 of those cat knight guys couldn't even lift but had to drag just proves that he's literally the strongest cat in the whole kingdom

Outwardly his appearance may seem meek, but Pipi's power is directly tied to his mighty internal image. With a sword light as paper but with the cutting edge of legendary blades, he can effortlessly conquer any foe. Truly a hero worthy of bard's tales and lengthy poems. And what a cute an precious bap he be.

I love how the end credits show how unbelievably heavy the dragon is. And Pipi just picked it up and carried it who knows how far back into the kingdom. Pipi is a pretty damn strong cat, but he’s only got one brain cell to his name

I don't know if this joke was intended, but it's funny none the less. In the beginning of the short, we see the Cat King talking to Pipi in normal english, but at the end Pipi talks to the dragon in an animal crossing like speak. Which leads me to believe that the Cat Kingdom does speaks normal english, but Pipi just talks in complete gibberish to everyone else. I can't tell if that's what the plan was, but it fits Pipi's character so well.

I love how Pipi wasn’t even comparing the face of the princess, he was entirely focused on the crown. Even with the King he saw his crown, saw it wasn’t the crown of the princess, and then left. Fantastic animation all around I am now a Pipi enjoyer

I like to imagine that the nick in his ear is from him trying to sheath his sword but then cutting through it every single time, so now every time he puts his sword away it goes perfectly through the nick

That little effect where he's stationary but the scenery moves behind him, except for the lighting changing on him is glorious.

Absolutely wonderful. I think my favorite bit of animation was on Pipi as he finally looks up at the dragon's tower. That little roll of his head against the wind just sold me. And the commitment to the twist there at the end was brilliant. Fucked right up, but perfect.

The short does something pretty unique for its kind. It starts out as a "look at this dumb baby haha" story, but continues on to give Pipi more emotion and move him to the receiving end of the cartoon's sense of humor instead. Every aspect of the production phenomenally serves to make you feel Pipi's annoyance. ...The show then switches back at the last minute to "idiot hero" comedy in, like, the darkest way possible. We need more F's in the chat for the princess and her father. Edit: Oh, oh wow... I think we have enough F's now, everybody

I love all the little details like the frantic little slappy pawsteps, his sword blowing away, the animal crossing sound effect for the passed out sheep princess, the little cat-themed details in the background, I find something new and fun each time I rewatch it!

In all seriousness Pipi is actually ridiculously powerful, having an insane amount of durability, strength, stamina, and speed. He was able to withstand being crushed completely under the foot of a giant which most likely weighed around 10-20 tons, getting a horseshoe thrown forcefully into the back of his skull, along with being flung into multiple walls, all without slowing or showing any serious injury. Feats of stamina and speed include - rapidly running up numerous steps without tiring, and carrying an entire dragon all the way home by sprinting. Along with stamina he seems to be able to manipulate space time and move thousands of miles in seconds 3:40 4:17, to cover distance quickly without even moving from his spot. His main feat of strength is carrying an entire dragon, but i guess slapping a princess so fast she wasnt visible for more then 2 frames also counts, also he was able to dig through presumably stone without being slowed even slightly 4:35. The only thing Pipi lacks in is intelligence, which is made up for by his incredible luck. Over all a formidable opponent who could be mountain level on the power scale, possibly much higher if manipulating the fabric of the universe could be used offensively.

Really a fan of all the small gags that happened! Like when Pipi goes to knock on the door with his huge muscular arm, then to proceed to politely knock. The animation was so smooth and clean, and the voice acting was surprising and well done! (was truthfully expecting either animal crossing noises or just no talking, but it was a pleasant surprise!) And we can't forget about our hero Pipi! Loved how to the point they were, and they never lost a battle! Amazing animation!

Has it already been a year since this came out? Wow, time flies.. I remember watching this with my cat laying in bed telling him he’s a hero just like pipi… of coarse he didn’t care. Rest in peace simba, and thank you for the good memories I have with this video.

ok jokes aside this might be the most unique fantasy animation i've ever seen. i love how pipi's a little guy and while he has 2 brain cells, he can use them well when it comes to defeating enemies. also the designs are so cute like pipi himself?? the cat horse?? the princesses?? the minotaur skull guy? the dragon?? the dragon is my friend now but my favorite part has to be the colors and backgrounds. it fits to the fantasy theme so well yet it isn't dull and boring? every location has its own charm

They are native to the regions of Cat Kingdom, the hometown of evolved anthropomorphic felines, where they were also domesticated to have distinct breeds and characteristics for specific/specialised regions, such as the Sphinx being for desert travel. The cat we see here has made a good choice with this breed; the Siamese is a common combination of various traits desired for all-around travel, whilst still cheeper than other designer breeds.”

I love how pipi is almost completely devoid of hesitation or fear. Cat has a goal, that goal will get done. You put ‘em against a horrifying eldritch monster and all you get in response are those ever-staring dilated eyes.

I watched this all the way through and now I've gone back several times and paused and gone through frame by frame to enjoy all of the spectacular detail. The windmill having cat ears? The cathorse having little toe beans? The SINGLE dog in the cat city? Even the shine on the intro title? I love it. This is a beautiful, fantastic animation with an amazing comical story and I love it. I love you Pipi!

The subtle jokes in this are phenomenal the fake out door knock, and the fact that even tho other animals can talk pipi still sounds like an animal crossing character. Meaning thats how pipi sounds to everyone else as well
