I would argue that Ryan is trying to be sensible. If EVERYTHING were a ghost to him, nothing could be taken seriously. But if he can say "no, that legitimately was just the wind" then when he says "guys, I heard a voice!" it's more believable. Shane I think is entertained by it all, so he'll play along with "ooh, was THAT a ghost maybe?" LOL

I spent a few nights on that boat before (like several years ago), and I remember the sinks in the bathrooms near the sleeping areas constantly turning on/off by themselves, as well as something constantly bumping the bottom of my bunk bed (no one else was sleeping near me). It def was creepy haha

The USS Lexington actually has a similar ghost story about how sinks turn on by themselves when you only turn one on but it's due to the way the valves work I believe cause some friends and I tested it when we stayed overnight and we would consistently get at least 1 other Faucet to turn on when we turned 1 on. Though the USS Lexington also has a story about all the shower heads exploding at once

I like to think that Shane has seen something to confirm the existence of ghosts but says he hasn't so that they can keep doing this show because he genuinely enjoys do this and doesn't want it to end and I think that's wonderful.

I went there and we took a tour, I got lost right, and keep in mind I was 10 at the time, and I saw a couple shadow figures in the mess hall, sleeping quarters, and the engine place. I still have a souvenir from it, a coin, and memories.

I once went to the annual anime convention held there 8 years ago, and came into contact with a ghost. I was looking over snack costs at the little dining area, then a wave of cold settled over me out of nowhere. Nobody else felt it. There was no way it could have been a draft from outside. I grew up being around the ocean and marshy areas, so I can’t have helped knowing what a sea breeze feels like. The weather that day made it impossible, too. The cold sensation felt something like a man’s hand gently patting my shoulder - like someone trying to get my attention. According to the museum staff, other people have had that happen to them over the years. Also, it usually occurs when people are lost or trying to figure out how to get somewhere on the ship. I’d say that I would put it in my top 3 ghost encounters
