If anyone's interested, I was just able to get through this scenario with both sims getting back together at full relationship bars. All you need is at least one Sim with the Self Absorbed trait, and have the other constantly compliment them (either from the Friendly or the Romantic socials menu, both worked for me). My Self Absorbed Sim never, ever got tired of receiving compliments, no matter how times I gave them and regardless of how much they hated me. Once you've gotten the bars back into the green/pink you can start using other socials, but if they ever backfire you can always build it back up with compliments.

Oh those goals are the OPTIONS?! I thought you somehow had to achieve all of them 😂

I tried it and decided I'd go the route of them getting back together but I suck at conflict resolution irl so, it ain't go so well. I somehow got them to hate each other more 😀

I had fun with this one; instead of trying to get it done as fast as possible I just made a story and everything . After lots of new dates, arguing with each other, arguing with each others dates, etc I eventually went the get them back together route .

My issue with this one is that if you just choose to romance another Sim, i.e. not the one you broke up with, you can finish this challenge within 1 day in the game. Now if you're good at creating your own canon you can imagine that your two Sims have broken up for x-reason, and that one of them cannot move out due to financial issues (thus they still live together). But overall this scenario hasn't fixed the relationship gameplay at all. I'd even say it'd be somewhat of a weird starting point for a save if you want to create your own legacy. However, if this challenge was triggered whilst playing the game normally and you then got the option to play it or not (same with the toddler challenge) that would be a different thing.

i'm currently playing this scenario! in my game, i imagined that one of them was unfaithful and they broke up for a bit but decided to try things again through anger and heartbreak. i plan to salvage their relationship just enough so that they're not constantly fighting and can do romantic interactions again, then have an "accidental pregnancy" but still have the boyfriend screw around on the side. my sim will then catch her boyfriend woohooing with another woman, break up with him on the spot and kick him out. then through her heartbreak and stress of having a baby on the way that she has to raise alone, she confides in her best friend naomi. eventually they end up falling in love, getting married and raising the baby (who will probably be a toddler at this point in the story) together and maybe adopting a sibling for their baby :)

I just did this one, and I had a lore in my head that the boyfriend cheated with the widow next door (also played in Oasis Springs), and ended up pursuing a relationship with her after the breakup. Distraught from seeing this unfold, my lady Sim went out for some rebound booty, when essentially turned into her starting the 100 baby challenge (had twins from that endeavor).

One couple in my vampire family (finished legacy) I disallowed from having a kid together because the family tree is so complicated I couldn’t determine how related they were. As far as I could determine, they were related at least three different ways, but maybe like third cousins, maybe more. It hurt my brain even trying to figure out how I could put it on a family tree. So she just had a baby with Makoa.

I feel like in enemies to lovers stories they have a 1/3-1/2 red friendship bar, and a 1/3 romance bar. And then they mostly just do romantic interactions until they have enough chemistry to gain friendship. I thought about this a lot when I first got the wishing well that gives your sim an enemy lover lol

I just started playing sims 4 again after a year and i literally just played that scenario and finished it within 9 days. I still like making them mad at each other and they still live together but one just secretly knocked up someone and the other has been sneaking her new boyfriend in to do a lil woohoo when nobody is home 👀

I did this when the scenarios came out and my sims not only hated each other with a burning passion for a while, they both ended up whoohooing with the same sim, found out about it, almost died together, and then became best friends, and now their children are just going fuckinfg wild

I'm sad that this seemingly drama filled scenario still feels... empty. You start with 2 sims that basically have no lives (no job, no family, no friends, etc.), and have them complete one of the easy relationship objectives for... what? Some reward points? I'd find it so much more rewarding to just create 2 sims, give them friends, get them a job; then have them meet, start a relationship, move in together, fill their house with pictures and stuff and then make them break up for a meaningful reason. I just see no reason to touch the scenario when I still have to rely on my imagination to make it interesting and I could achieve that better on my own.

had to do this one of course and I realised a great way of getting friendship interactions to work was to have them do something as a group! i got them to 'cook together with' and this interactions gives loads of +friendship, as legit nothing else was working lmaooo. also wait for the sad motives to go away and they'll work better for anyone planning on taking this route! after that it was quick work

I did the scenario and oh my god. THE GIRLS HATED EACH OTHERS GUTS. I would put the friendliest interactions and they would just start GOING AT EACH OTHER. It took a week for them to be able to talk to each other without feeling upset, it takes a lot of time and constant apologies, right when they start to become friends I WENT SO FUCKING HARD. Long story short, they’re married now.

The energy in this video was incredible; had me smiling the whole way through :)

I just avoided them interacting until the sentiments faded which made it easier to build the relationship back up to full. It took me far too long to realise it didn't want me to achieve each outcome.

i did this with a new save file, and sent one off to university without realizing that the scenario would ‘pause’ for the duration. i continued to fix their relationship despite one living in a dorm and the other at home, and they were back together when he finally finished university. apparently university was in an alternate reality bc instead of beating the scenario in 4 weeks i beat the scenario in 3 days 😂
