Clooney wanted his own "Interstellar"(2014)? And for the love of God, can we stop spoiling movies in trailers?

It's ironic that they're travelling somewhere millions of miles away but we're still having trouble getting to a place somewhere on earth.

I would probably watch this just based on the trailer from 1:44 on. I wouldn't have any idea about the plot, but I'd get some themes and tone.

Great trailer... (yes, Virginia, that WAS sarcasm) They showed the Earth as dying, humanity's only hope (the space ship) being severely damaged, the McGuffin (transmitter) AND that Clooney and child reach the McGuffin. Good job. All they needed to complete it would be to drop the best lines or jokes in the trailer. Yeah, 2020 has made me a bit salty.
