I spent my whole childhood with lego so I'm immune to stepping on bricks. No pain at all. Those mudguards were always sort of like bees though, in that they sting, it hurts a bit, but the thing that stung you dies in the process.

My bet is that this was a project done by a bored engineer, or someone else with access to a laser cutter or a different kind of CNC cutter. That would explain the skillful cuts. As a college student in a major that gives me access to several university CNC machines, I know several folks who would probably build stuff like this if they had time between classes, myself included. Those are some vicious pieces, and that last one was probably made with a triangular file, no clipper. Still, you guy s are so lucky if you never stepped on the technik's small gear, the 8-tooth one it's a death spike. Also, you missed the camouflaged transparent pieces like the cockpit glass, the small 2 by 4 on the base, it can turn into a pair of blades.

I just wanted to say, while it is deadly on 1 angle and uncomfortable on the rest of the sides. I would have to mention, Lego Rock Raider crystals. They are sharp and pointed on 1 side while the rest if just uncomfortable, however, I am always lucky enough to step on them aiming upwards.
