Yesterday I saw the special on this Floating Home on DIY TV. They detailed everything from bottom to top and this is definitely a Floating Home I would love to have. Yes, the Floating Home is up to code for hurricanes...BUT, the weather in the past 6 years have revealed we are living in perilous times. I think it may well be worth the $5.9M because of everything it is capable of doing. To anyone that purchase a floating home especially residing in FL I can only imagine the stress one would endure getting the FH to an area of safety...$5.9M would definitely be a sizable loss.

A bedroom under water would be more practical as waves have less impact there and it will be easier to have it cool and dark.

@@HansKeesom ...then though it would not be able to Traverse through the intercoastal, would need to be careful with the depths, Definitely great idea from Brittney. Most definitely that would be wonderful to have it, the house boat, on the Ocean Side! That would be an awesome room indeed!

@@alinafstrmom7725 This boat has two floors, with a bedroom on the top floor. That should at least be the other way around to start with. Due to how boats float, there will be space below the waterline, simple Archimedes. That space, if available is a good candidate to have a bedroom without making the boat being deeper in the water.

So you're going to park it in front of water front homes? Don't think so. They will sell some of these. There are people who build mansions around the world and may stay in one for a week a year. Not even pro ball players can do that. Where does that money come from?
