Wow, toddlers are SO needed. I love it when my sims wake up in the middle of the night! I also LOVE taking them to the park for family fun only to have to go back instantly because it needed to sleep. WOW sims 4 is going to be the WORST game EVVVVAHHHHHHHH! (Sarcastic)

Lily Taylor Just cause you don't need that feature doesn't mean that others don't. The point of the Sims is to allow different gameplay styles. If people want family oriented stuff in the game, that's fine. If you want to focus on YAs that's fine as well. No need to get all condescending.

A Sim Fan There are family oriented things in the game. Toddlers are just the only ones missing, and they may add them back. But you can still do family stuff, (the kids interactions are great!).

They have to say that unless it's true gameplay. On literally every game commercial that doesn't show true users playing, it's not actual gameplay. So for example in halo they show big action shot clips but it's made for commercial and happens in the game, just not as "camera ready" and "beautifully" as on the commercials. No games show actual gameplay. You'd have gamer tags, mouse movements, weird simlish bubbles or not perfect angles in it and it wouldn't look as good nor as professional if they did every step to each action during this commercial.

Kaitlin Clarke Maxis seems dedicated to delivering at least one omission or downgrade you'll get severely bummed out by, I'm sure you'll find yours eventually. Be it dishwashers, burglars, CreateAStyle, pools, story progression, segmented neighborhoods, loading, no terrain editing, fewer and missing career paths etc. It's quite astounding. My two would be the complete removal of the open city environment, and the simplified sim personalities (TS4=three traits, TS3=five traits). So disappointing.

They will probably add pools with an update, and maybe toddlers with an expansion pack then an update. Like in sims 2 they didn't have young adult until university.

There are system requirements, and if you would have checked your computer or laptop to see if it fit the requirements, you would've know the game wouldn't work for your PC. It's not Ea's fault that your computer can't run the game.

kotajacob a game like the sims could never run on crappy computers. they just made it so that you dont need a giant graphics card to play, you can use something regular. Also it is not their fault if your pc can't run it, if it's too small then it only makes sense it couldn't work.
