what really sucks about this pack (aside from the fact it’s massively buggy) we don’t even get the bare minimum or any added realism. there’s so many things that could’ve been done with this pack like: - sims recognizing their spouses family as in laws - having bridesmaids & groomsmen - picking out dresses for your bridesmaids - hiring a wedding planner would’ve been cool (even adding it as a job maybe) - the option to hire an officiant - instead of window shopping for dresses or being taken to cas I think the dress shop in tartosa could’ve been a retail lot and one of the wedding events could’ve been your sim & their friends/family helping you pick dresses? idk - HONEYMOONS this was pretty much just a huge missed opportunity imo and all we’ve really gotten out of this pack is more decor for an even messier wedding than we already dealt with

The sims in the sims 4....ACTUALLY DANCING TOGETHER??? Rather than dancing alone in the same space??? Should have been there since the beginning, but FINALLY.

My biggest want for the Sims 4 is an attraction system. I want Sims to be able to have either friendly or romantic chemistry. The relationships in the game at the moment all feel flat and fake. There should be factors which mean that 2 Sims get on better with each other than with other Sims. Romance is way too simple in my opinion. There could also be greater levels to Sims relationships with each other. You could have a Sim with a very close friend who they’d never date and a Sim who is attracted to another Sim but at the same time doesn’t like them as a person

I hope this includes an officiate, a wedding planner and all the parties as well as anniversaries and appropriate wedding member parts (bridesmaid/groomsman etc). Also, they must sit down during the ceremony.

Love the simlish version of “At Last” by Etta James!! 😍😍 This pack looks sooo good and the trailer actually had a story! I noticed the wedding party had on matching colors. I’ll be buying this for sure. Great job!!!

I'm convinced at this point that the Sims budget is all being spent on PR consultants instead of game development.

I think they might make the wedding event into multiple parts kinda like in snowy escape when you climb komorebi, and I hope that they would let us customize every part (like a diner part but if you don't want it you can remove it)

Sooo, EA and SimsTeam.... You're really not going to say ANYTHING about literally scamming people with a broken, unplayable pack and continuing to sell it full price? I have not seen a single review out of the many that I have watched where the pack works at all. This is genuinely so disappointing. So many people, myself included, were very excited for this pack and all we were given was an opportunity to flush money down the toilet. I love the Sims and bought a good number of the packs, but from here on out, I'm not buying anything else unless it's actually a good, finished, functioning product. Clearly, with past packs (dine out, laundry day, etc) and now this one, customers can't trust that any content produced won't be a lie and a scam. This is exactly how to destroy your name and reputation, kids. Have fun with your consumer loss, EA. Do better.

Was excited, but then I tested it multiple times and am still disappointed. Still no patch update, still completely broken. The entire point of the wedding pack to be married; wedding ceremonies don’t even let my sims get actually married. If thinking of buying: don’t.

I really like they added a lot of gameplay, you can walk down the aisle, have bridesmaid, flower girl, ring barer, people sitting at the chairs to watch it instead of walking off, looks like you will have stag/hen nights too, trying cake, choosing flowers, looks really good you can finally have a proper wedding, only thing i would say is the dresses could be improved, they are not that detailed so i prefer custom content wedding dresses, the veil is really small hopefully there is more options and accessories e.g. holding flowers

Hot Take: I hate to be really negative here but like… why isn’t this just included in the base game? Why do I have to pay extra to not have broken weddings in my sims game, where everyone is scattered around and standing, or in my house stealing my food and using all my stuff instead of celebrating my sims who just met 2 days ago, and are getting married? This pack looks pretty cool, and I’ll honestly probably buy it, but it just kinda sucks that 7 years in and one of the most significant life events you can ever experience is still janky as hell. It’s honestly so annoying to host weddings in the sims, and that’s from someone who enjoys it. I’m not even mad at the idea of an expanded weddings pack, it just feels like I have to pay extra to repair something in my sims game that should’ve already been fixed years ago. Things like a fully functional attraction system, likes and dislikes (we have now, but I have my issues with), better sim ai limiting them from acting like clowns at my wedding, bridesmaids and groomsmen, even built in honey moons should all come with my sims game free of charge. Also, tangentially related: we should have funerals by now, and no, not in an extra dlc pack. Thank you.

a sims trailer just made me cry, this is SO CUTE!🥺 i’m so ready oh my gosh😭💗

I want more complexity in the relationships and interactions, things like having step-parent recognized in family trees, and just more drama like a sim being able to tell another sim their spouse was cheating like in Sims 2 🙁

So...Will it be fixed? Cause currently it doesn't work. They don't throw the flowers, don't gather to toast & the paparazzi decided to take pictures at the altar....

....Wow. This expansion is FULL of bugs. I had my guys (two guys) try and get married. For one, nobody sat at the right place, two they weren't wearing what I told them to wear ... I am SO glad I didn't buy it, even with not buying it I WANT A REFUND Not only is the wedding buggy, the WORLD it's self is buggy. The sims don't do what I tell them to do!

It delivered: it was a really cute and engaging wedding story. Weddings seem pretty detailed. Still wishing it was a romance pack though, expanding on other areas than just weddings (better dates, attraction, generational differences). Fingers crossed for a free update to fix the base game weddings too.

remember, in four years the sims 3 released 20 dlc packs with a giant store of extra content for £500, it took the sims 4 eight years to release 51 dlc packs for over £800.

There were a lot of LGBT content in the Sims before. Hecking family, Moody & McMillan family, Ngata family. The Carnaval Streetwear Kit with Pablo Vittar on the cover was also released in Russia a week ago. It turns out that the reason is not in Russian laws.

Это очень обидно и неприятно, такими темпами можно взять и запретить остальные дополнения, в трейлерах к которым показывали однополые пары. This game pack is really cool, but we all know half the sims are going to be standing up, the other half is going to swap between sitting, standing and swithing seats, four of them are going to be having a conversation during the ceremony and one of them is going to run off to use the bathroom, not make it and then die of embarrassment

I’m most excited for the new world tbh as wedding gameplay is not something I do frequently. I hope the lots are ones we can change the type and livable for sims.

I am overwhelmed with how incredible this looks. Literally just about everything I was hoping for seems to be happening. Cake tasting, dress shopping, bridal party, etc. like omg. And the Etta James was just *chefs kiss* …can’t wait to see how this translates in actual gameplay.

Don't buy it! it is seriously corrupt! Build wise is fine, gameplay in live mode - it completely barely works as what you see in this trailer. Your guests don't do as requested, they arrive in 'everyday attire', they don't sit, they don't walk down the aisle properly or at all, they don't toast, they don't eat, they just throw rice. Even the bachelor party, the family meeting, the dinner rehearsal,, cake/flower stuff you see is all just for show. VERY upsetting! waste of $30!

I hate you... edited: thanks for everything. I've been playing The Sims since I was seven years old and even younger. I loved the Sims with all my heart and there is such discrimination. You broke my heart with this. I will NEVER play The Sims again! perhaps I'll go on crying .. thanks again.

Very excited for this one. This is the kind of stuff we want to see. I'm praying they can work most of the bugs out of this one--seems like there's room for quite a few of them--but if the game works as intended, this is going to be one of my favorite packs.

- Bridal shops need to be a thing, stalls are cute but it’s surface level. We need a crossover between get to work and this pack. I want to open a proper wedding boutique. - We need new animations. Don’t they dare trick us with reused animations and rabbit holes. We deserve proper on screen new interactions. - New world need to be residential, no one cares about vacation world EA ; give us the option to live AND rent there if necessary. - Wedding drama need to be a thing. It can’t be called « my wedding stories » if the only story you can tell is how perfect the wedding was in different shades of pink. - + updated attraction/romance system, preferably on the base game.

Everything’s so beautiful and good, but can we talk about the fact that they won't release it in Russia? They always tell us how they support their players, LGBT players, so they decided not to make concessions to the laws adopted by the Russian government. But the government don’t play this game anyway, they don’t care. The Sims team affects only their loyal players who spend HUGE money for our country on this game. Doing it they just say that they DON’T support Russian players and Russian LGBT community. So does that mean that they love their players...but not all of them? Do LGBT Russians not belong to the ones they support then? We don’t deserve to play a beautiful wedding because you decided it this way? It’s a hypocrisy. So disappointed and heartbroken 😔💔

I'm so excited for the SLOW DANCING and the functional TEA SETS omg. I hope the Sims team patches the tea sets from other packs to be functional. I'm not thrilled about them recycling the buffet table from Luxury Party Stuff instead of giving us a different style of buffet. That pack needs a refresh if it's going to be worth it now.

Not releasing this add-on in Russia is nonsense. The game states that the game is 18+, then why was Russia cheated ?? Why don't you even "try" to fix the trailer cover so that Russian fans can play the game??

I bought almost all packs and I am used to having glitches many many times during playing however this pack is a true DISASTER.... I stopped playing because the reasons I bought the pack is not working, AT ALLLLL..How can you charge your costumers the full price for an unfinished pack!?! I feel like I have thrown away my money. Hope you will fix this very very soon
