I actually really like the sims 4. It's different than the other games. I'm cute impressed with the pets expansion. Even though you can't control them I love it. Being in control of pets in the sims 3 really stressed me out

I always have aging turned off. Also, I have close to no idea what you said about the engine. The only time I had issues playing it was when I tried playing it on my old desktop that ran Windows XP. On my regular, Win7 laptop, it runs just fine...

Myles Barnas On the message boards I constantly see issues people are having with the way TS3 runs. Seeds that glitch furniture, game freezing every minute (I had that one), repetitive behavioral glitches, eating up computer memory... Seriously there were so many problems with it.

Myles Barnas Yes of course I met system requirements, don't you think people would have thought of that? I also did several clean reinstalls after removing all my mods as did many others who still had a lot of problems with lag and glitches. Terrible lag in Isla Paradiso particularly.

They've improved it way better than sims 3 because maxis have come back into it

It's that way because on the Sims3 they didn't focus on gameplay, they focused on graphics causing it to lag. The sims4 they made the graphics this way to make it non-laggy and it focuses on gameplay. :) I love it .

They look like plastic barbie dolls in Sims 3 compared to how they look in Sims 4. They look so good in TS4 !

Honestly they seems more detailed in the sims 4 IMO, they really look as individuals an not copy and paste of the same face with slight differences, they walk like normal people and not with their back bent, they're more colorful, the world looks awesomely detailed serene etc etc etc. I just can't say how much I love sims 4 new look, really! If the gameplay is as good as the visuals then all the people (even the ones still playing at sims 2) will switch game, I totally can't wait

dragonsissiy I usually wait for a few expansions. Sims 3 basically sucked until it got a couple expansions under its belt, now it's a great game. The infuriating thing about the process is you would think they would add say seasons to the core of sims 4. But basically that would lose them a lot of money down the line because the seasons expansions pack was a huge seller for Sims 2 & 3. --But they're owned by EA so... LOL.

SourBitters Exactly lol. That's something else I'm worried about as far as Sims 4 is concerned. Obviously they are still going to have microtransactions, but it'll probably be even more so than the sims 3. It's a problem I've had with EA since the sims 2 and it's gotten worse since the sims 3 store. I also waited to get the sims 3 untill it had some packs. I for one, hope to see businesses brought back from the sims 2.
