This actually looks pretty good. I love the transition from below to Pin-Up Girl walking above them. Great cinematography there!

@@yertics if this is a origin story I'm calling it that the couples , or at least the redhead will become one of the actual strangers in the other 2 sequels , since they filmed all 3 at the same time I think due to her trauma she'll become one

Since it's a trilogy, I'm calling it now. She'll be so traumatized after these events, that in a later movie she will eventually put on the Dollface mask.

this looks like a legit good horror movie -- the music isn't too loud like in IT, the acting feels genuine and the build-up of suspense is masterful. also that sound effect when the nail went into her hand made me jump a mile 😂

Looks good but wish they wouldn't show so much of the film already. They gotta get advice from Radio Silence how to promote a horror film (I LOVED Scream 5-6's promo materials and little fun easter egg posters and whatnot).

Facts. Hate when studios do this. I wish they'd take advice from Radio Silence (I loved how they promoted Scream 5-6 and gave out fun easter egg posters and whatnot). Wish more studios would do that.

This is so 50/50 - going to see it but hoping it makes up for that 'Prey At Night' flick - still cringe. The first is such a classic and hoping this offers more than just a carbon copy of what the first was other than seeing a couple locals when they go to the gas station.

if this isn't realistic and the acting + the horror is mild and it isn't r-rated. They don't deserve to release the 2nd & 3rd chapter at all

It was a very dramatic and clenching scene. When the nail went through her hand I cringed and said ouch. With that said, however, I also think it's not entirely realistic. If I were walking on my hands, and my palm came against a sharp nail, something tells me that while the hand might be punctured, I doubt the nail would go all the way through.
