Originally, the only real stars of "MythBusters" were hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, but as the show went on, viewers were introduced to the Build Team: Kari Byron, Tori Belleci, and Grant Imahara. While Imahara may not have had the over-the-top personality of his co-stars, he probably had the most experience in both robotics and in the entertainment industry. Imahara helped operate two of the most iconic characters in the "Star Wars" franchise -- and he even helped Craig Ferguson get a sidekick on his late-night talk show. Let’s take a look at the untold truth of Grant Imahara from "MythBusters."

Granted, sidewalks aren't safe either. lumberjacks have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world (~1/200 chance of death on the job). Their job is to make heavy objects fall. Have you been around large falling objects? Have you seen the insurance rates for anyone working around cranes/forklifts. My grandpa's company pays ~60$/hr in insurance per employee because cranes and forklifts. If they didn't have those, I believe the rates would be ~20$/hr. Insurance is based of the likelihood of an injury and the cost of said injury, with that high of rates, it shows the rate and cost are VERY high.

She had more cajones than the rest of the crew combined. Over 400mph multiple times. I wont speak ill of the dead but that spider video was not nearly fatal.

Just got the news of his untimely passing, very bizarre and sad. The late late show was the only talk show I always wanted to watch and I remember being pleasantly surprised to find out my fellow yellow mythbuster rep Grant created Geoff. It always made me feel good growing up seeing a smart, engineering type dude getting mainstream media attention and being entertaining to boot. RIP Grant Imahara, your creations and influence shall live on.

It is very sad that Grant Imahara is gone. I pretty sure I've watched every episode of Myth Busters at least one time, and of all the great personalities that was on the show Grant was one of my favourites.

He was literally the most kind person. He didn't deserve this. No one does. My child hood memories involve Mythbusters. And battle bots. Grant. You. We're. My. Favorite.

I wached this video this morning, whilst being unaware of his death at that time. He was my favorite mythbuster if i had to pick, but they are all fascinating engineers to me. He will truly be a loss to society, and to the millions of scientists and engineers who ware inspired by his genius. Rest in peace Grant,You will not be forgotten.
