Then it was enhanced to mobile in 2012 which was literally the same story nothing new. THEN enhanced to the Nintendo Switch in present day with new content. So technically twewy fans like me who played the og version haven't seen new content in 10 years and assumed Nintendo didn't wanna touch twewy ever since

Square Enix just has a unique way of naming there definitive editions. a remaster would be a improvement of graphics, which this game did not receive, its the same visuals from the phone versions. this is a enhanced port. take Kingdom Hearts Final Mix for example, it wasnt a remaster, and neither is this "Final Remix" its the same concept, same game, more content. forgive me for bein rude i just hate when people start arguments when they dont even know what their talking about

It IS my favourite DS game. It's my favourite RPG of all time, only SLIGHTLY edging out Crono Trigger (I replayed them both recently, and I finally took Crono trigger sliiiightly off it's pedestal after that)

Old nintendo power magazines called this game the best game in the entire ds library. This is what the ds was made for. Along with elite beat agents.

Nah I never played it and the trailer got me hooked. Music is awesome. Gameplay looks great and unique. I'll definitely give it a try

The game has a unique gameplay that is hard to explain. The best way to show that is to have a demo for it. I know I'd greatly consider double-dipping if I knew for a fact the motion controllers are good. It does look like a lot of fun but I'm still not convinced. With that said, I'm glad you're getting it. The game is amazing. I put over 100 hours in it on my DS. You're definitely in for a ride my friend.

If my assumption is correct, the game's gonna be a modified version of mobile port according to screenshots/gameplay cuts. So, there probably won't be second screen stuff from DS, but the partner will be activated by a simple action on a screen (tap, hold, or slash). There won't be a puck pass, but alternating between Neku and partner attacks will deal more damage. The fusion will have a minigame where you will have to pick right fusion cards on screen and gain multiplier for super attack. Pins will activate mostly the same ways, but shockwaves were used by shaking the entire device, not shouting/blowing into the mic. I guess, joycon motion controls will mimic the touchpad just like the stylus. I'd think laser pointer or something like that. And there's classic touchpad controls, so there's that.

@@dronnoh i loved the pluck pass in DS, it brought forth all about the console, and i feel that the minigames are rather hard, due to the action pace, tho it would be fuj tu test the alone co op mode if it allows to use the partner similarly to DS and make easier the minigames

If you saw the previous trailers from like 2 months ago or so Hype-chan does make an appearance at the end - for some reason a part of Shibuya is so silent and barren where Hype-chan is and she's SLOWLY walking towards the screen, with an enlarged Mr. Mew in hand, while the wind whistles in the background. Also for some reason in the said same trailers Coco Atarashii has more purpose in the game and seems to be conjuring Taboo Noise in the back alley of Shibuya (in the very same spot, too!) where Sho Minamimoto also summoned the Taboo Noise and went berserk during mid-Joshua Week and onwards. TWEWY starts to get better but weirder this time around.
