Ninh Ly Its actually quite the opposite of say the Redskins. Every (using that loosely) Irish American and every wannabe Irish American (people who think they have an Irish name, but its really english or scottish, and their real ethnicity is American mutt like the rest of us) has to obnoxiously remind us how great the Fighting Irish are at football, despite them not being really that great in the last 20 years.

Ninh Ly Cleveland hasn't entirely done away with Chief Wahoo. They increasingly use a different logo on their caps (a big red 'C'), but they haven't officially retired Chief Wahoo. They still use it on some games and it's still on the website. I think this is a slow process of weening off the logo instead of getting rid of it in one swoop and pissing off the stupid fans who don't like any change. I hope so, because I'm from Cleveland and love baseball. Because of the racism, I switched to the Red Sox (speaking of silly names) when I was a kid. If Cleveland changes the name they may be my second favorite team.
