To be fair just because Bells Hells is dropping in viewers doesn't mean a lot of people aren't flocking to CR and staring the journey at Campaign 1 or 2

No, he said a lot more. Getting MAJOR plot updates, including possible Essek Episodes, Cerberus Assembly episodes, and admitting that the story include events and characters never seen before is by far the biggest update we have ever gotten since it was announced a year back!

Honestly the declining Twitch viewership is partly just viewers moving to youtube, especially since it is pre-recorded anyways, there's not as much of a reason to watch live. The youtube VODs are doing well considering how deep we are in a campaign, like, what other youtube game series is there that gets half a mill views in a month at episode 80? I've seen streamers who play big name video games who have barely a couple thousand after 10 episodes of a seires.

Yeah, Twitch viewership is not the be all, end all. UKposts is actually getting better live numbers now, and of course they have all the prime video animated series as well as live shows to prove that interest is still high, this campaign may just be a not quite to every fan's taste, but they all know it will pass.

As much as I would what to see a M9 series as soon as possible, I think we should get through the rest of the Legend of Vox Machina first, just in case there are any spoilers and continuity threads between the two shows. Depending on how soon seasons 3-5 premiere for VM, realistically, I'd wager we see a M9 series in as little as 3 years.

I think, especially as they avoided direct connections between the two campaigns, they won't reach anything that can be spoiler-y until LOVM has concluded.

I'm fine if Mighty Nein does come out before Vox Machina finishes. As far as I know there isn't much of a connection between the story threads of Vox Machina and Mighty Nein, so the sooner we get these animated series the sooner they could start on Bell's Hells, provided the campaign wraps up by the time the two animated shows are finished.

@@androski5247 At most the members of The Mighty Nein is gonna meet some of the members of Vox Machina. But i think that was pretty far into the story and i don't remember any mayor spoilers happening in the second campaign that could ruin the first. 😊

@@Menhtrol Did that happen in the campaign? Because I'm pretty sure it didn't. Bells Hells have interacted with VM characters a lot, but aside from like... Allura showing up briefly (who isn't a member of VM) the campaigns were kept pretty separate.

I think we'll get a M9 series release *when the show is ready.* The biggest difference between most shows being made these days and TLOVM/M9 is that the creative forces behind the original property are at the helm of the TV adaptation, and they care deeply about properly telling the stories of the characters they love so much, *while* being highly experienced behind the scenes of animated media production. They're not going to jerk the audience around just for the sake of hype or publicity, but they *are* going to make sure the end product is as good as they can make it. So I'm willing to trust the process and be patient; they'll share news when there's news to share.

The chair was the key.... campaign 3 proved that..there will be a call back on the chair too connecting to campaign 1... technically it was there percy's torture experience.. he had to sit somewhere lady brairwood was a part of the assembly.... ITS ALL CONNECTED !!!!

The writers' and actors' strikes last year certainly delayed many productions, so we may not get VM season 3 until later in the next year.

That's more dependent upon Third Person more than anything. Critical Role is just giving them more resources to work with, which basically allowed them to quit their day jobs and focus on Midst.

I started with C3 and actually really love it but I started watching C2 and decided to put C3 on hold until I fully catch up to C2 (only on about episode 77 or so). Really loving Mighty Nein though and excited to see how they bring it to life with an animated series. Really hope they show us the initial meeting in the tavern but I'm sure they will want to skip a lot of the early campaign stuff because the actual bigger story stuff doesn't start right away. Would be great if it was coming out as early as next year. I feel like we are in a really great place for nerdy tv shows based on games (both table top and video games).

I was honestly surprised that we haven't gotten anything yet, at first I thought it was just bc they didn't want to coincide with Invincible and Hazbin Hotel, but like, now even Fallout is out and done, there's nothing on Amazon that's up and coming that I know of so I really hope we get a trailer soon.

Depends on the first trailer we get, if we don't get any during the expo then I think possibly late next year for Might Nein. IF the trailer drops and it isn't just a teaser then possible late this year, early next.

I am really excited for the M9 show, I loved the VM one and am excited to see the next season. One worry I have is that they will try to much with the M9 I'm pretty sure it won't go this way but having all of these stories happening at the same time as the M9 might be jarring. I think I am misinterrpreting what he said, but just a concern I had. Still super excited!

I love the trio of dnd games. Vox Machina is good friends running together. Mighty Nein are all lovable characters. and Bells Hells are the serious characters. They are facing all the heavy stuff. They are all amazing and lets face it.. friends that we'd all go into battle with! I hope that we see Mighty Nein by the beginning of Fall I think.

On the viewership thing everyone oly talks about Twitch, overall including Vods, YT streaming, and everything else Critical role is probably doing better than it was during lockdown. I only say probably because I haven't gone around and looked at numbers.

My guess is Jan 2025 we will get VM S3 and then M9 will come out in June 2025 or Fall 2025. Now that follows loosely the math of the past. However with that said I believe the writers strike, along with the other strikes, impacted M9 development. But I think those who are caught up with Bells Hells may notice that this campaign is a game for them, CP2 they'd mention a lot that they talked in between session about Strats. This time around they mention how they forgot to talk about Strats for very important fights. Also for super critters, Matt said Campaign 3 was going to be hard mode, but he has softened over time. So I think they've been hustling to work on Might Nien season 1 as well as S3 of Vox Machina.

M9 as a party was also much better equipped for more strategic combat so that side of the game probably became much more fun for them. BH by comparison they seem to be enjoying exploring the world (and moon) more.

I'm not expert but isn't there a destinction between development and production in "the buisiness"? I hoped to maybe get the M9 show next year but if they're still developing it that might be WAY to soon. It was hard to include the main story of VM into a "short" form series. It's gonna be hell to press all these different point of views into the M9 series. Just giving Essek a 30 second scene or two like they did with the Briarwoods in VM season one would likely not be good enough.

Their are basically hollywood work sheets that list productions in development for casting/crew reasons that indicate the other seasons are in early stages as well.

I don’t understand the obsession with critical role losing viewership, like that’s going to happen naturally with anything that goes on for as long as CR has. Also Covid and quarantine really helped their numbers bc everyone was just stuck inside. Now life has gone back to “normal” and not everyone has time to watch a 4 hour UKposts episode every week

My guess / suggestion is to have mighty nine start after season 3 of vox machina so theres a lead into the new series. I think the dip in viewership is due to shorts making people more a.d.d , so the time commitment seems more extreme.

I think we might be alone on this plane but I do believe that there is other planes that can and will come to this one at a certain point if conditions are met etc. Elon is too busy to dive into all of this and I'm not sure he and Rogan get into the weeds about it either.
