This was a great random find. Cleese and the host had a great rapport. I dont think there was any offence taken on either side, they were just mining for jokes for our amusement and they succeeded.

Contrary to popular misconception, John Cleese is not , and never was, as tall as your average fully grown communal garden ostrich! JC is 6 ft, 6½ inches tall, whereas the average fully grown adult ostrich is approximately 7 ft, 9¾ inches!!

There were so many reports of OBE's (Out of body experiences) in UK hospitals that doctors stuck coloured labels on top of equipment in the operating room high off the ground and patients who had an OBE correctly described the coloured labels meaning they had to have been high above them ! .
