Grass-fed Irish ribeye steak served with Burgundy mushrooms -

Damn... looked like an awesome ribeye, wine and mushrooms aside that was honestly cooked exactly how I would like it. Cooked in butter seasoned with Pink Salt, triple peppercorn blend, Rosemary and Thyme, sophisticated yet still fairly simple. Good job homie! Looks great.

Agreed on meat and cooking, never seen a ribeye with a cap like that. 25% of that steak was the eye.

I wish to God we were able to have Irish beef sent to us here in the U.S. I contacted a gentleman who is the top raiser of beef in Ireland just to see if there wasn’t someway to get it but it just couldn’t be done. Such a beautiful film on this one Aden. Thank You so much.

When I lived in SF I had a tiny apartment so I cooked all my steaks in pans. Thought I had perfected the pan seared steak. They were delicious. But When I moved back to Texas and grilled my first steak in 3 years and tasted it. I was so mad because of how much better it was fresh off the grill. No amount of butter, herbs, or garlic will change how I feel about pan seared vs grilled. But this guy makes one hell of a pan seared steak
@ThisMeantime

Should put the herbs before searing the steak because you allow the herbs to break down a bit from the heat and allow the herbs to release with the butter before it cooks the meat. The meat is open and relaxed before you cook it so you allow the meat as it cooks to absorb the butter and release from the herbs before it goes to med-rare.
