Same and it was my sweet Godmother who was crazy in love for Tom that made me fall in love with his voice, this one if sir Tom allows me I'll share for my dear loving Godmother who sadly passed away from cancer last December. Incredibly me too! While I collected each of his LP's, for me there was never anyone better than him until today! and it is pleasant to be able to enjoy his presence and songs that contain in me many memories of my entire life! (From 1960 to today 2023) Thank You Very Much Sir Tom Jones 💗

Absolutely undoubtedly his VERY best work. Singing from the heart and not too long after he was regularly skint and comparatively down at heel. These conditions make you feel it and sing it for real. Harder to spontaneously sing from the heart and mean every word, when you're a multi-millionaire living the dream. Then, you can only try and sing from the memory of hard times, which is much more unconvincing to the listener. BIG difference in your feel for singing the blues when going thru hard times and struggling to make the big-time, to trying to sing the blues when you've made it and living high on the hog 24/7, 365 days a year.

I agree.....but Elvis still gives me "goosies" too. I was lucky enough to have been able to have seen both artists live in concert, in their prime. I was even fortunate enough to get backstage to receive a peck kiss from Sir Tom. 💓💓💓

@@gigimoore3738 I love watching Elvis videos too! I started watching them when corona broke out, along with Tom Jones. Elvis was so funny and I really admire his life story. Both men are extraordinary performers!

i was only around 8 years old when i heard his voice on the radio it was called Delilah i was hocked ever since on his voice but the trouble was i was born in 1969 so i missed out all of his best prime younger years on his tv show this is tom jones so i went out and brought out the blu ray set but all the songs i wanted was cut out as it was edited so badly half of his best performance wasn't even in there so the only way to track them down is for someone to put them on UKposts like this song that i never had so who ever put this on thankyou. Also when i was growing up he was rarely on tv back in the late 90's and 2000's it only since 2012 hes been every where from doing the voice and guest appearance on shows even hosting children in need it the only real time i had the chance to see him on tv

@@bioshock6935 I just watched your video of him singing "What a Wonderful World." Great job and I subscribed! I grew up in a strict catholic family and watched very little television, by choice. Between school and time with friends and chores TV just wasn't that important to me and my sister and brothers. There is only six years and two days between the oldest and youngest and we entertained each other! Keep up your great work, it is appreciated!
