As much as ya'll probably want to believe that, while Tom's second track was really good, it didn't even mac make stumble in terms of growth and relativity. Which is why like say Eminem is so feared in the rap world, as he has ended the careers of a few rappers, he even caused the collapse of the nations biggest hip hop magazine when him and 50 went after The Source and Murder, Inc.

Tom couldn’t be totally pre-prepared because he addressed Lethal’s bars in his own. This was a clean win. They aren’t on the same level. My first time hearing it was very shortly after discovering Tom, if he was better I’d be a Lethal fan now, but I haven’t heard anything else he’s created, while anticipate every MacDonald drop with excitement.

Yep, an intelligent listener caught the meta diss there. Tom showed how you can diss someone through song style, and not just the words. The slowness was on purpose. The first diss song was for Mac specifically, the bait. Mac was the target audience, so he went slow to make sure he was understood, and yet Mac still didn’t comprehend he was dissing his parenting and not his daughter. It’s also funny when Mac’s like, “I heard your diss and wasn’t sweating”, it’s like, NO SHIT, he went slow for your dumb old ass on purpose! 🤣🤣🤣 The second diss wasn’t for Mac at all. It was clearly for the audience, so he went hard and didn’t hold back. After all, it’s the audience he has to convince he won, not really Mac. He was so much smarter and played 4D chess while Mac’s playing checkers.

"respect" LMFAO. The line was particularly harsh, but Chris Benoit was a wrestler, kinda more up tom's alley, considering that he was such a huge addict, that he totaled his car running from the cops with a kilo of coke in the trunk. If you actually know anything about Tom or Mac, you'd see why many of Tom's disses were complete misses, and how some of the brags like being worth 12 mil (LOL, he had to post a gofundme for nova like a year before, for 10k in medical bills, not something you have to do if you're sitting on a pile of cash.) were complete lies. Go read the lyrics to his song sober, apparantly he was arrested once for stabbing his ex, and he says he cheated on people he needed "a year ago" (this was released in 2020, so that sounds like he's talking about Nova.) His entire track was a bluff, and ya'll bought it lmao. All of his disses towards mac were basically him projecting the things he went through, and considering his violence towards his ex, i'd say that benoit line applies way more to him.

Nova was a star signed to Def Jam where she released a fair bit of music but in the end they treated her like shit and mistreated her so much that Nova tried and successfully got dropped from the label and swore she would NEVER sign to a label again! When Tom and Nova started dating after being friends for years meeting in Edmonton Canada, Nova helped navigate Tom through all the pitfalls and dirty shit record labels do especially when labels wanted to sign Tom after he blew up with "Dear rappers" so they would go to some major record label meetings with NO intention EVER to sign, but just to find out how much they though Tom was worth, so he could find out what his INDEPENDANT outlook would be, obviously Tom made the right choice and NOW Tom and Nova help each other with their music and have the ultimate freedom even though they both work 16-18 hrs a day but don't regret a thing, also killing it financially!💯🔥🙏🍁

Mac went off the socials for a while. People were sending him some rather epic message, such as: “Hi Dave 👋🏽 hi Dave 👋🏽 hi Dave 👋🏽”. That message was fairly universal after Tom dropped this approx 24 hours after Mac dropped his.
