well if you were an internationally well known artist what would you gain from eurovision. you just risk making a fool of yourself and doing really poorly like flo rida this year lmao. successful artists from other countries go on it to market themselves to a wider audience that don’t speak their language but the english speaking artists are already famous enough internationally because a lot of people listen to english lyrics in every country so they don’t need the exposure.

nah they sent Dustin because they stopped winning after public voting was introduced (rather than only juries) and all countries were allowed to sing in English (rather than the native language rule). still loved Dustin though (and voted for him lol)
