I don’t think it’s physically possible to listen to this and *not* be in a good mood

I think that there is a reason why this video is an animated cartoon: it's a critique against Disney's unrealistic standards about love. First, she kills Hercules (blond hair, the nose and chin resembles Hercules), then Aladdin, and the third guy looks like Eric. However, we find out at the end that she was in love with Ariel, the brunette (the hair looks like hers, and in the end she is wearing a purple bra and green trousers. The pose also makes it seem like she's got a fish tail, not to mention the fact that Tove Lo cut her legs off). The Little Mermaid was the animated film that gained a huge success in the late 80s - early 90s, when Disney was facing a crisis. That's what launched Disney's Princess brand. Since she's the main iconic character of this brand, she might be representing all of the "girly" qualities that the Disney princesses had: elegance, naivety, kindness, a narrow waist, always a positive and cheerful attitude, a perfect singing voice, and always getting their perfect prince at the end. So, Tove Lo is literally telling her that she's sadder, badder and cooler. [Edit, added later: she kills Hercules and Aladdin because she first blames men for disappointing her, but once she sees Ariel, she realizes that she will always be disappointed by men unless she kills her, the reason why she has high expectations in love.] Should we blame Disney for giving us false expectations about love and men and women? Maybe. But overall, as much as animated cartoons try to give us moral lessons, it is up to society in general, parents, schools and institutions, to guide us properly. We should also be brave in life, be daring, tell that crush that we like them, give our first kiss that will probably be disgusting and disappointing... in short: don't be afraid to live and be embarrassing, hurt, disappointed. Cartoons and books and advices might help us understand some concepts when we're children, but only experience will teach us real life lessons. Experience is subjective and totally personal, it can be affected by society, cartoons, yes, family, friends, anything, but you are the one processing and elaborating all that information, you are the one who's ultimately deciding what to do with it.
