As a lifelong Dolphins fan I haven’t felt genuine optimism at the quarterback position since Marino retired. This kid is special though, I can feel it. As long as he avoids injury, he can take the Dolphins back to championship contention.

@@jpatrick1967 Jealousy with his success is noted but most coaches that are successful as he has been have unwavering standards that have to be followed. He has mellowed out somewhat in the past couple or 3 seasons though.

@@shchorss I think you misunderstand my point, he still has high standards and expects the best from everyone in the program but Saban has shown moments of true emotion with players especially Tua. That doesn't mean he can't be really successful at the same time. He still gets upset at coaches, players and officials during the game the same as always but he has just shown more of a human element that he didn't show before. Even last year during LSU's great season if Alabama had not suffered the amount of injuries they did I believe they could have beaten LSU the first time or at least got a 2nd shot at them in the playoffs. They were still definitely a Top 3 team, Oklahoma was not. Mellowing out some doesn't equate to the team or the coach being substandard at all!

EXACTLY...and Saban will not get a more accurate recall of thoughts from Tua than then. Saban can then file that and use it to teach/coach next year.

Tua just made me a dolphins fan, I don't watch much NFL outside of Derrick Henry and keeping up with other Bama players and I've never been a team fan, but I've never followed a player like I have TUA, he's special. He got me a team, buying his jersey as soon as I can find one.
