At 1:12 her son asks “Do you have food to eat?”. She answers “Of course” and rushes to lay down the table. Then he says, that’s it’s not for them, but rather if the parents need anything and she immediately starts telling about the neighbors that might be short on food. Truly heartwarming.

Heard someone translate. the other 2 soldiers were his cousins. One asked her if she had food. She thought they were hungry was going to rush off and cook them something. But they told her no they brought them food.

@Nelson Lowman no, they are not. Most if not all countries with some type of Latin Culture do that (Italians, Portuguese, Spaniards and descendants in the americas, Croatians). Some Eastern Europeans are the same way particularly Polish, Ukrainians, and so on.
