What im thinking is they where ramping up never expecting to win already. 2025 was their real shot by all logic. But bmw has put bike $$ in test teams and toprak so its gona get spicey. Arguably the 1st two races dont suit bmw at all

@@captaintoyota3171 It's not just money, they put in extra effort and for once have a rider that can squeeze everything out of the bike. Building a great bike is one thing, bring it home another.

And even when there is a so called "dirty" move they get over it by the next race weekend. Awesome.

Neither was bmw. I seriously believe they where shooting for a building year. They just invested in test team and toprak, patented very interesting bike technology and seemed commited to 25 title. Not realizing toprak will push the team straight to the front for all bmw riders. I just wish WSBK had few more rounds. Man it deserves to be equal to GP i mean they are two seperate challemges and skillsets and i love them both for this. The prototype aero bikes of GP and the" stock" rider challenge of WSBK(bmw it is stock u can buy the m1000rr do few mods boom wsbk)

michelin tyres are made not for his style; he would crash them in 8 laps(it's another way to make tyres than the rear is stronger than the front and if you leave the front to toprak you'll see him on ground every race. This is why yamaha did not take him in mgp)

me too. Yamaha as a company and a racing team has a very strong principle of keeping a certain characteristics of their bikes. And speed is not their priority, which is contradict to today racing trend. They also losing out to Europe teams in term of aerodynamics and innovations. Tough to swallow as a Yamaha fan, but it is what it is.

@@budokpantai do you think will they lose Fabio? And what about Rins? Curious to see if they'll try to grab the VR46 team in order to have a second squad à la Ducati-Pramac. This would be impactful to collect datas and develop the M1. Probably they would use this thing also as leverage at table in front of Fabio. But I've read Pertamina wants VR46 team keep Ducatis.

@@leonardofabbri7930 these kind of things mostly depend on rider market. If other team have no empty spot, then Fabio will most probably keep his seat at Yamaha. The same with Rin, especially Yamaha currently is in bad situation. And I don't see Yamaha make significant improvement in next couple of years since Japan economy is declining.
