Transcarpathia, various festive feasts, the hostess of the house brings aromatic coffee for the adults and serves kifliks to everyone at the table.
It's the most delicious pastry that every household from Rakhiv to Uzhhorod prepares and loves.
It's the most delicate shortcrust dough combined with a nut filling-it's simply a treasure. This recipe will definitely find its place in your cookbook and on your table.

For the dough:
200 g of flour
A pinch of salt
100 g of lard (cold)
1.5 tbsp of vinegar
50 ml of water
For the filling:
150 g of ground walnuts
60 g of sugar
1 egg
Powdered sugar for dusting.
Bake for 25-30 minutes (until golden on the bottom) at 180 degrees Celsius.
Dust the still-hot kifliks with powdered sugar.
