Compared to the current extremely low quality western journalism it was very good. However the questions were sometimes too light, if not sounding somewhat naïve. I always watch President Putin's interviews when I come accross them. Fascinating and intelligent man. Very articulate and able to discuss on a wide range of topics without losing focus or getting seduced into any particular emotion or reaction. Shows his pedigree. The interviewer is also to be commended. Interviewing like cross examination, does not have to be cross. Respect and politeness goes a long way. I appreciate of course that different interview styles may suit a particular context, but rude hectoring gets nowhere.
