I loved the detail at the very end, Waluigi was sad because he new it was over. The fighters had Respawn pads since their in the game except Waluigi, so he wouldn't respawned but just die. But Mario, impressed by his ability to defeat all of them with a single life said "Screw it, you're in."

Gun, katana, knuckles, frags etc. A more intense version of snake. Remember he is the only normal guy of the cast so it makes sense if he is like a highly trained elite

that really is the best part of him, in every game he's in they change his abilities to always be the extreme technical style character, from crazy purple spike vines to robotic claws that toss explosives, waluigi can do just about anything. Hell, if he was in smash it would almost be best to invent an entirely new moveset with the weirdest abilities possible.

Well a echo is probably way easier to make then a full on fighter. Waluigi's body type probably makes it so he can't echo anybody, Exepct like bayonetta and Captain falcon, but their movesets wouldn't work with him.
