I too just discovered Dust two days ago and have been addictively binge watching. Your question is extremely valid. My prediction is: this will become the norm in watching short movies. I would also like to add that many of these can and should become full length movies. The movie industry has taken a turn for change, in a positive way. Hollywood should be eliminated and let the people with honest talent shine and get their credit.

Some of the actors are already well known, character actors I recognize from other projects! For example, Lance Reddick, before his very untimely passing this year, was featured in an image advertising one of these short films! It's part of why I clicked in the first place last year and was sucked in! The content for these films ison-screen. I'm convinced Dust is a secret testing space for content for the SyFy channel or something, because the content is so well done and regular union folks will show up onscreen. Where are they getting funding to be so good?!!

I just Found this channel last week and watch 3hrs a night! I'm so addicted to every show on Dust. Idk how I've spent hundreds of hours on UKposts and only just found this channel. There are some excellent movies that come from HW but its kinda rare vs every single video I click on here being a masterpiece. Thank you to all that make this channel my daily go to!

Omeleto is pretty good also. It is not as good as Dust, but still has some amazing shows that suck you in. They have a few genres so make sure look at their sci-fi stuff before you judge it.

How novel Automata is in it’s time frame. I like these automatons in this story. I like everything about this unique story. I like Lenny. He’s a snitch to remember. Well done! Automata is just a drama, not a Sci-Fi short film. All it contains is a lot of men talking, and very little to no Sci-Fi at all. Just because it contains one or two talking robots doesn't qualify it as Sci-Fi. Fail.

WOW! I hope this becomes a series. Thank all that had a hand in creating this program. You all desire a pat of the back. And the actors did a great job also. Without then, this would been B rated Dust movie. A high five to all the actors. I like Automata, but I seen it before. I love it. This to should continue into a series, maybe 15 minutes in length with commercials to help pay the production coast. And offer it for sell without the commercials on DVD.

The first one was okay, reminiscent of the movie ....I, Robot. But the second one...Automata...was incredible...WOW...what a top notch production; great writing, great acting by everyone; so good that I couldn't tell that they were acting...totally believable...!! And a very interesting setting: what was it...1929 ?? ...with what little technology there was back then but somehow had the know-how to build robots with almost...maybe even fully sentient brains....brilliant..!!

AUTOMATA pure fabulous without all the violence. What made it feel so authentic was that it might just have unfolded in this manner during the 30's,40's. It will continue ???? Great.
