FYI, This song is for the series in Thai webtoon called “วันทองไร้ใจ” “Wanthong rai jai”. If translated directly, it means Wanthong(name of the female character in Thai literature that protagonist transmitted into) has no heart. To summarized, the protagonist is transmitted into the well known Thai literature that every Thai kids have to learn about called “ขุนช้างชุนแผน” “Khunchang Khunpan”. Khunchang and Khunpan is the name of the male antagonist and protagonist respectively who try to steal Wanthong from each other and abuse Wanthong. (In the past, women was seen as an object of the parent and the husband.) The ending of this Thai lit. is Wanthong being sentenced the death penalty for the reason that the king at that time see that she couldn’t choose between the two man because she has love for both of them while in reality, she’s scared to choose either of them in front of the king (if I remember correctly). There is the idiom from this thai lit. : “วันทองสองใจ” “Wanthong song jai” refers to Wanthong who couldn’t choose between the two men and was used as a bad example for woman in the past. You can see that the title of this series is referred from this idiom. This series is really really good in every terms. The art, the story, the pace and what the author want to elaborate on the past beliefs whether it is the beliefs that woman is the object of parent and husband, the patriarchy, the beauty standard, the consent especially between the married couple, and many more. You will see the old Thai culture being told to you by the beautiful and breath-taking art. Now this webtoon series is also available in Indonesia language.
