Yes, it’s weird that it is linked in a transcript about a monster, but I don’t think Wally is the monster mentioned in Sally’s story, which, knowing Sally’s theatrical personality, I believe is just made up to scare her neighbours for Halloween.

The reason why the Apple was bit without anyone actually touching it is because Wally blinked, meaning it was going dark vision, to eat the apple.
