They went into Bergen-Belsen concentration camp when it was freed. I didn't know about this until after my dad had died. He could never bring himself to talk about it. I found out from my uncle. While I understand the sentiment, two wrongs don't make a right. Far better for Ukraine to keep its operation clean (be the bigger country as it were) and once they've won, stick it to Russia through the war crime courts/reparations.
